Jungkook, as always, woke up early, getting ready for work. Before leaving the house, he caught sight of Taehyung's sleepy eyes, snuggled up in a blanket with a cute face like a hibernating bear. This is how they spent every morning.

Omega woke up much later and did housework, and before her husband arrived, he always called Jungkook.

Today's workday had been particularly challenging and nerve-wracking: a mountain of paperwork and a fight with colleagues. Jungkook accelerated, just to get to Taehyung faster. As soon as he entered the apartment, still wearing his shoes, his attention was drawn to the scene unfolding on their bed.

He paused in the doorway, looking at Taehyung, who was curled up in his sweater, sleeping—a sight that made the alpha's heart flutter. He smiled softly, leaning closer and smoothing the chestnut-colored hair that had fallen across the boy's face.

“What impudence, little thief,” he said hoarsely.
