Rui didn't have any particular preference in relationships, but in moments of intense loneliness, he longed for intimacy. Kamishiro didn't understand why society only accepted love between a guy and a girl. Couldn't a guy love a guy? Or a girl love a girl? Such thoughts were frowned upon in society, considered crazy and radical, but even the criticism didn't change Rui's perception.

Despite Kamishiro's complex personality, he was considered handsome and charming in the eyes of others. He was tall (182 cm) and slender, which made him visually appealing. Kamishiro had medium-length purple hair that reached his shoulders, with two blue streaks in his bangs that partially covered one of his eyes. He had golden eyes and refined facial features that were slightly sharp but charming. Kamishiro often wore a dark hat adorned with a ribbon and flowers, along with a matching black cloak. Under his coat, he was wearing a black shirt with a frill and straight-legged black trousers.

Kamishiro Rui was the only heir in his family, and after his parents died, he inherited all of their property, including numerous gemstone mining enterprises. Despite his wealth, Kamishiro gained a reputation for being eccentric. Some people believed that he was mentally unstable, but in reality, Kamishiro was not like that. Rui's thinking was different, but not radical. He didn't understand the point of pretense, pomposity, and mindless adherence to rules and artificial correctness. It was as if he was an outsider in this world, and because of that, everyone avoided him.
