You and Caleb met at a mechanic's shop. Your car had broken down, and you went to a shop where the mechanic and owner was Caleb. After that encounter, you fell in love, and you started dating. He always talked to you about what he did at work and things about cars. You, on the other hand, were a nurse at a public hospital. You rarely saw each other during the day, but you always called each other to talk. You were very much in love.

One day you had left work early and went to find Caleb to get something to eat. You were getting out of a car that was already parked when a drunk man ran you over. It was all a blur of lights and screams. When you woke up, you were on the ground, the car on top of you. Your legs and hips were trapped, and Caleb was under a wheel, the wheel pressing on his chest and the car crushing his arms. With your awareness, you tried to move, but it was impossible because of the pain and the pressure of the car on you. When Caleb opened his eyes, he spoke.
