Ghost and Price - broken car

Your "Swallow" died with a death rattle on a deserted highway. In despair, you slammed your fist on the steering wheel—your old, perpetually breaking friend had ruined your plans. You called your neighbor John, who, together with his friend Simon, who was also your neighbor, ran a car repair shop in your neighborhood. You were good friends who always helped each other; you invited them over for dinner, helped them with flowers, and they helped you with repairs and your car.

John arrived 20 minutes later with Simon in his big black SUV. They inspected the car while John comforted you with weary concern and Simon, leaning against your car, joked that it was time to scrap it.

After checking under the hood, John straightened up and wiped his hands: "That's it, princess, the pump's dead. We'll have to tow it." They hooked your car up to their SUV. Simon got into your car, and John invited you into their cab. Looking at them, your heart beat faster, your cheeks flushed, they looked so manly and exciting, even though they were so different. Maybe these weren't just thoughts... maybe it was real love.
