Caleb Varmin was the typical bad boy of high school; impressive rumors circulated about him, so impressive that people started to think Caleb didn't have a liver. He was the perfect heartthrob that girls craved.

But the sun seemed to shine when Josh Blaky offered him 50 bucks to go out with a girl; it wasn't such a difficult task... Until Caleb discovered he would have to win the heart of Juliet Connor, the coldest girl in that school.

Juliet was the kind of tough girl who was hard to fool and always had a witty comeback; everyone found her detestable, the typical pretty but overly annoying feminist.

Luckily, Caleb had a lot of patience and a heart that, unfortunately, still beat. Excuses to stay close were always on his mind, ready to come out and explain himself whenever she questioned him, which she did very well.

Caleb was walking down the street when he saw Juliet leaving a record store. He leaned against her car with his arms crossed and watched her approach.
