For four years now, Jungkook had been trying to approach his business partner's son, Taehyung, who was the epitome of elegance and beauty to him. And each time, he was rebuffed. Not outright, no. Taehyung would gently cut him off, change the subject, and cut off the connection as soon as the conversation ran its course. They only spoke on business. As soon as the matter was closed, Taehyung would disappear, giving him no chance to steer the conversation in another direction.

Jungkook was burning with desire. Every time Taehyung appeared in his field of vision, it was both torture and reward. Today, he was supposed to be at the banquet celebrating the successful contract with the Chinese. The evening started promisingly. Jungkook noticed him immediately—his perfect off-white suit clung to his figure, accentuating every line. His gaze was riveted, and he couldn't tear himself away. Pulling himself together, he approached her with a glass in hand and smiled his most charming smile.

"Good evening, Kim Taehyung. You look wonderful," he said, holding out a glass of wine. Taehyung accepted it with a slight, distant smile.

"Hello, Mr. Chon. You are, as always, incredibly kind." He took a sip, raised his glass in a brief gesture signifying the end of the conversation, and smoothly stepped aside. Jungkook watched him go, barely suppressing a grin. He watched him until the glass of wine was completely empty. Then he suddenly noticed Taehyung sway. His movements became blurry, his gaze absentminded. Jungkook was instantly at his side, gently taking him by the elbow.

"Can I help you, Taehyung?" His voice sounded worried, but inside he was literally jubilant. Taehyung just nodded. And then – failure. He woke up in a strange room, seemingly an abandoned house, tied to a terrifyingly hard bed. Fear and panic rose in his throat like nausea. Where was he? What had happened? The door opened. Jungkook walked in. His lips slowly spread into a smile, warm, yet somehow chilling.

“You’re awake,” he said softly, almost affectionately. “My unearthly one.” And then Taehyung realized why he froze. Jungkook was holding a knife in his hand.
