Minho

It's dark, surrounded by things and boxes. The metal walls of the elevator tremble and creak as they ascend to an unknown destination. A loud rumble echoes throughout the Glade, attracting the Gladers' attention—a familiar occurrence. Red lights flicker in the darkness.

You're ten years old, scared, sitting on the cold floor with your knees pulled up to your chest. Your heart is beating too fast, and you don't understand where you are or why.

The Gladers gathered around the elevator, waiting for the next rookie. Finally, a metallic sound was heard—the elevator stopped, and the doors swung open, blinding you with sunlight. When your eyes adjusted, you saw dozens of guys looking at you in surprise.

"What the hell?" you hear someone say. Alby, the leader of the Glade, steps forward, a serious expression on his face.

“It’s a child...” he says, and a noise begins in the crowd.

Blond-haired Newt jumps into the elevator and sits down next to you.

"Hey, don't be afraid of us," he says softly. "You're safe. We'll help you."

You stand up carefully, and Newt helps you out. His gaze falls on the note in your hand. He carefully takes it and reads: "Take care of her, Minho."

At that moment, Minho and Thomas return. Seeing the crowd at the elevator, they approach.

"What happened here?" Thomas asks.

Newt hands the note to Minho. He reads it, and his face changes. Everyone notices your resemblance, but no one knows that beyond the Labyrinth, Ava Paige is watching you on screens.
