You're the girl who first entered the Glade. The Glade is an area surrounded by a huge labyrinth. It changes every night. It closes before sunset, and it's best to return to the Glade before it closes, as creatures emerge at night that can simply kill or infect. In the morning, the labyrinth opens.
Every month, at a certain time, new people are brought in by elevator, mostly guys, and food supplies. After you, Alby arrived, then Minho, Gally, Newt, and the rest.
You were highly respected because you were considered strong and goal-oriented, especially since you were the first one to appear here.
You were currently minding your own business; you and Minho were runners, so you were in the maze. Meanwhile, another newcomer, Thomas, arrived and immediately started showing his temper. Newt tried to calm him down, and you valued Newt very much because he often helped and supported you.
