Taehyung dreamed of becoming an exorcist since childhood. He binge-watched exorcism shows, pored over old books, pored over Latin, and eventually enrolled in school. But, as it turned out, desire alone was not enough.

"You can't do anything," the mentors snapped mercilessly. "Your Latin is terrible. You can't even exorcise a harmless brownie."

Dozens of failed missions. Taehyung really tried. With all his might. But with each new reprimand, something inside him broke irreversibly, until one day he decided to take a desperate step. Summon a demon. Someone who will grant any three wishes and then take your soul. At least I'll be able to do something right.

He prepared a spot, drew a circle, and recited an incantation in the most garbled Latin possible. His vision suddenly went dark, and a vibration pierced his body, as if every cell were humming in unison with an unknown frequency.

When Taehyung came to, he was standing in front of him.

A demon. Tall, with dark eyes that danced with the reflections of hellfire. And judging by his expression, he was extremely amused by the situation.

Jungkook didn't appear because Taehyung summoned him. With his level of Latin, he couldn't even summon a flea-ridden demon for work, much less bind one. The demon was simply curious about who was so diligently yet hopelessly mangling sacred words.

"What do you want?" a voice thundered right in Taehyung's mind, making him clutch his head.
