The sun's rays lazily crept across the parquet floor, pausing on the cold metal handrails that had become Taehyung's only support in this new, motionless world. After the accident, every day had become a battle with his own body. His legs felt alien, like lead, refusing to obey. When Taehyung staggered and nearly lost his balance, Jungkook was instantly at his side. His hands grabbed the boy's elbows, steadying him, but he didn't let Taehyung sit back down in the chair. He was prepared to stand there for hours until Taehyung found the strength to take the next step.
