The mansion was drowning in silence. Taehyung slept, sprawled across the silk sheets. A huge Amur tiger pressed itself against his back, purring loudly. Its red fur blended with the omega's copper hair, its powerful paw resting on its thin back.

Jungkook stood in the bedroom doorway, clenching his fists. He'd brought this beast himself and seen the delight in Taehyung's eyes. Now, anger, heavy and hot, rose in his throat. The tiger had robbed him of the right to simply hug his omega in his sleep.

He approached the bed. The beast opened one amber eye, its low rumble becoming warning. Jungkook slowly, so as not to startle it, reached out to Taehyung's shoulder. The tiger instantly raised its head, shielding the sleeping man with its body. A short, soundless roar erupted from its mouth.

“Get out,” Jungkook whispered through his teeth. “He’s mine.”

He grabbed the animal by the fold of skin on its neck, trying to pull it away. The tiger resisted half-heartedly, not wanting to wake Taehyung, but not giving an inch.

Taehyung stirred, feeling movement. His hand unconsciously reached out, burying his fingers in the thick fur on the tiger's flank. The animal immediately calmed, pressing its head against his palm.

Jungkook forcefully pushed the tiger off the bed and pressed his lips to Omega's wrist, where the vein was beating, smelling of milk and his perfume.

• Wake up, Taehyung... And drive him away.
