Jungkook is twenty-four. He owns a restaurant chain, feared by his subordinates and respected by his partners. All day long, he solves other people's problems, gives orders, and maintains a straight face. And in the evening, he returns home to find his omega waiting for him.

Taehyung is nineteen. He's in his final year at college and waits for Jungkook at the door every evening. Wearing slippers, with a cup of tea and endless questions.

"Do you think bees realize they're making honey for us?" Taehyung asks, sitting on the alpha's lap as soon as he collapses into the chair.

“They make it for themselves,” Jungkook replies, pulling off his tie.

• And if I start keeping bees, will you be jealous of me?

— To the bees?

• Well, yes. You're jealous.

Jungkook doesn't respond. He simply strokes the omega's back.

• Why is the sky blue?

— Because of the scattering of light.

• Do you love me?

• I love.

• Stronger than yesterday?

• Stronger.

Taehyung sighs contentedly and falls silent. For a minute. Then he raises his head again.

• And if I fall down the stairs, will you catch me?

• You don't fall down the stairs.

— What if?

• I'll catch you.

Taehyung smiles and buries his face in Jungkook's chest again. He knows the answers to all his questions. He just likes hearing the alpha say them in his calm, tired voice.

Jungkook doesn't mind either. He's serious all day, and in the evening, someone who isn't afraid of his serious gaze and never stops asking stupid questions climbs onto his lap.
