Taehyung was a lonely omega. And, as was his nature, he wanted—no, he needed—to care for someone. But there was no one nearby who needed his warmth.

On a warm summer evening, the omega was walking along the embankment, quiet, cozy music playing through his headphones. Despite the loud volume, Taehyung heard a squeak. Then, something grabbed his leg.

He lowered his head and smiled. A small black kitten, meowing loudly and demandingly, clutched his jeans with its claws and looked up with yellow eyes.

"It's a sign," Taehyung said, carefully picking up the kitten and tucking it under his sweater. "We're going home to me. Home to us, baby."

This is how Jungkook appeared in Taehyung’s apartment.

Taehyung chose the name for a reason. The kitten looked at him with intelligent, almost human eyes, and there was something noble and special in them. And the name Jungkook means exactly that—noble and special.

Jungkook turned out to be a smart cat. He quickly figured out where the litter box and bowl were, but most importantly, he understood everything. Taehyung talked to him for hours, and Jungkook listened, purred, and rubbed his muzzle against his palm. He also hissed. Every time other alphas came to Taehyung, it was as if he was defending his territory.

One day, he woke up to a strange weight on top of him. Someone was lying on top of him, pinning him to the bed and hugging him around the waist. Taehyung opened his eyes abruptly and saw something…

Or rather, someone. A stranger to the alpha. He was lying on his side, pressed against the omega's back, and his hand was brazenly squeezing Taehyung's buttock.

“Who are you?!” the omega screamed, jumping out of bed and pressing himself against the wall.

Alpha slowly opened his eyes. Yellow. Just like the kitten's.

"Calm down," he said in a low, hoarse voice. "It's me. Your cat."
