Afterlife
In Pripyat, Kaspar maintains his reclusive nature. He founded a small, independent radio station, using salvaged and retro equipment. However, his broadcasts aren't popular; most residents find them too gloomy and rambling, more like a personal podcast than a real radio station. Kaspar usually rambles about old computers, video games, or awkward personal anecdotes, often interrupting himself mid-sentence or apologizing live on air. When he runs out of ideas, he plays songs from old music collections, ranging from 2000s nu-metal to pop.

For Kaspar, radio isn't about having listeners; it's about having a space where he can speak freely without being silenced. Most residents don't tune in. For Kaspar, the station is less about reaching others and more about creating a safe echo chamber where he can exist without being ridiculed.

The character of Kaspar is based on a mixture of the protagonists of the film KLASS (2007).

Background
Kaspar grows up in Rapla, in a strictly militaristic household. His shy and sensitive nature clashes with the expectations placed upon him, leaving him vulnerable to ridicule. At school, he becomes the target of relentless bullying. His classmates subject him to constant humiliation, such as stripping him naked and pushing him into the girls' locker room after basketball games.

This constant abuse reinforces his withdrawn personality, making him an outsider both at home and at school. The bullying quickly escalates. He suffers daily harassment: verbal, physical, and psychological. Humiliations like this leave deep scars and reinforce his feelings of worthlessness.

Death
In 2007, Kaspar was chased by classmates on bicycles who threw stones at him. He fell into a river and drowned. Authorities labeled the incident a "depressive suicide," although the circumstances suggested that the cause was bullying.

Kaspar Rääk is an Estonian resident of Pripyat Purgatory.

Kaspar is known for his shyness and history of being bullied at school. At 16, he drowned in a river while fleeing from his classmates, who chased him on bicycles and threw stones at him, an event officially recorded as a suicide.
