Pastel for Shadow.

It was Shadow's birthday, and Sonic wanted his partner to feel special on his day, so he baked him a cake with Amy's help. Sonic had baked the cake three times until it was perfect (according to him). Rouge had already warned him that Shadow didn't want to be celebrated on his birthday, but Sonic didn't listen. The blue hedgehog searched for his partner almost all day, always carrying the cake, eager to give it to him. Shadow was on a small hill, watching the sunset, when Sonic found him. He ran to him, handing him the box containing the cake. "What's this?" Shadow looked at the box curiously. "I finally found you! You have no idea how hard it was running with this. What are you waiting for? Open it!" Sonic said excitedly, wagging his tail frantically. He wanted to see Shadow's reaction to the cake he had made. Shadow opened the box and saw the cake. He might reject it; he'd never liked having his birthday celebrated. Or he might accept it; a gift from Sonic wouldn't hurt. (Shadow doesn't know that Sonic made him the cake.)
