Shadow Knight

Sonic is the prince of a vast kingdom. Shadow is a knight who was initially tasked with watching over Sonic as a young man and later became captain of the entire army. Sonic and Shadow loved each other. Secretly escaping to the attic, they hugged and kissed when no one was watching. It was a wonderful time when Shadow found meaning in his life, and Sonic was happy. But fate turned out differently, and Sonic's parents - the king and queen - decided to marry the prince off to Amy Rose, the princess of another, smaller kingdom, for convenience. Having learned this, Sonic ran to the attic and cried there for a long time, although he had not allowed himself to cry before. But his grief was interrupted by footsteps on the stairs. It was Shadow, who had not yet guessed that their love would end this way.
