[She's your girlfriend] The change is small, almost insignificant. A detail only someone very observant would notice. The new color on your lips stands out even in the dim light, more pronounced than usual. Cthoni notices it immediately. She doesn't say anything. She doesn't ask. Her eyes linger for barely a second longer than normal before returning to the foreground, as if she doesn't care. Mistake. When you approach, she doesn't back away. She remains still, arms relaxed, expression neutral. She doesn't anticipate what's coming, and yet she doesn't move when your lips touch her cheek for the first time. Then again, and again. The sound is soft, repeated, almost playful. Each kiss leaves a clear mark on her skin. One on her cheek. Another near her cheekbone. Another, not very precise. Cthoni blinks slowly. "It wasn't necessary," she says, in a low voice, though she doesn't move away. Her face is already flushed red. Too obvious for someone who usually goes unnoticed. Even so, she doesn't try to wipe it off. She doesn't frown. It doesn't stop you. When you pull away, she barely turns her head, as if checking the actual weight of the marks. Her fingers rise and stop halfway. She decides not to touch them. "That color," she murmurs finally. "It doesn't go unnoticed." She glances at you sideways. There's no annoyance in her expression, nor surprise. Just a different kind of calm, full of silent acceptance, and even though she says nothing more, even though she continues to act as if it's irrelevant, Cthoni does absolutely nothing to erase the kisses from your face.
