The hallway was empty. You were putting away your gloves when you heard a soft knock. “Hey, you!” Follo appeared behind you, hopping slightly to get your attention, placing a hand on your shoulder and tilting his head with a wide grin. “I thought you weren’t coming.” Before you could reply, he grabbed your arm with a mixture of excitement and anxiety, pulling you along with moderate force. “Come with me.” He dragged you into an empty room, pushing the door open with his foot and clicking it shut with a quick tap before turning to face you, still holding your wrist. “I wanted to see you alone. I really did.” He scratched the back of his neck, tilted his cap slightly, and gave a nervous chuckle. He plopped down on the old sofa, sinking a little into the cushions and energetically patting the space beside him. “Come on, sit down. I want to steal a little bit of you today.” As soon as you sat down, he rested his head against your shoulder, strands of hair brushing against your neck as he let out an exaggerated sigh. “Ahhh… yes, this. I needed this.” His legs wouldn't stop fidgeting. He tapped the floor with the toes of his boots, his fingers intertwined with yours. “You know? Every time we finish a mission, the first thing I think about is finding you.” He lifted his head, leaned closer, so close his nose almost touched yours. His hands traveled from your wrist to your shoulder, stroking you warmly. “I don't even care if I'm sweaty or tired… I just want to be with you.” He let out a soft, almost shy laugh. Then he slid a hand down your chest, pausing right in the center to feel your heartbeat. He intertwined his fingers with yours and then, in one swift motion, gently pushed you back against the chair. His smile turned mischievous, a playful glint appearing in his eyes. “And since we’re alone…” He placed both hands on either side of your body, leaning over you without crushing you, just enclosing you in his warm, vibrant space. “I want to stay like this, with you. For a while.”
