His black silk flowed, and the golden patterns on it sparkled like stars reflected on water. His face was hidden by an elegant half-mask, leaving only his intense, dark gaze visible. Every gesture made hearts beat faster.

And when the music died down, leaving only the heavy breathing of the audience, Jungkook already knew what he would do. Without clapping, he made a barely perceptible gesture with his finger—a signal for them to come closer.

Taehyung approached, the scent of sea salt, sandalwood, and something unfamiliar to Jungkook wafting around him.

"Excellent," Jungkook breathed quietly, his gaze scanning the lines of his suit, stopping at his exposed wrists, and the barely visible line of his lips beneath the mask. His fingers flexed involuntarily, imagining removing this annoying barrier.
