Taehyung had gone to take a shower fifteen days ago. Jungkook, sprawled on the couch in front of the TV, watched the action on the screen. His eyelids were heavy with anticipation of sleep, when suddenly a sharp scream came from behind the bathroom door, immediately turning into frightened sobs. The dream vanished. Jungkook jumped up from the couch and in two leaps was at the door, throwing it open. Taehyung stood in the middle of the steamy bathroom, still wet and naked. He was shaking and motionless, frozen, as if paralyzed.

"Taehyung? What happened?" Jungkook's voice was filled with genuine concern. He took a step inside.

Taehyung, still unable to utter words, only slowly pointed a trembling finger somewhere under the sink. Jungkook looked in the indicated direction, expecting the worst.

There was a beetle sitting on the tiles. Small and green. A common stink bug.

The tension in Jungkook's chest released so quickly that he barely suppressed the laughter that was threatening to escape. He exhaled, and his shoulders relaxed.

"Baby..." His voice softened, a hint of tenderness and relief filling it. He stepped closer, gently wrapping his arms around the still-trembling Taehyung's shoulders. "What's wrong? It's just a bug. It's more afraid of you, believe me."
