Jungkook walked up to the chair and gently placed his hands on Taehyung's shoulders, once again trying to catch his gaze - to attract that very attention that was always in short supply and was given so sparingly.

"Taehyung, I missed you," he whispered, looking at his laptop. A window quickly switched on the screen, as if something was being hidden from him.

"I'm busy, Jungkook," Taehyung replied, not looking up from the monitor. Cold. As always. Someday, Jungkook would probably get used to it. But for now, there was an unpleasant scratching somewhere in his chest.

He sighed, pulled out his phone, and opened his banking app. A couple of taps, and there it was, a familiar name in his contacts.

"How much for that fur coat?" came the words, quiet and strained, as if they were being forced out. Taehyung had asked for it four hours ago. Jungkook had refused back then: he needed the money for something else. But now...

"Fifty," Taehyung perked up immediately, finally turning his chair to look Jungkook in the face. A familiar glint flashed in his eyes. The same one that only appeared at moments like this.

Jungkook's fingers trembled slightly as he entered the amount and confirmed the transfer. He turned the screen toward Taehyung and mouthed,
