Shadow The Hedgehog

Shadow was raised by humans, behaves like a human, even wearing clothes though he doesn't really need them, and speaks like a human. On the other hand, Sonic is a hedgehog who was raised with other creatures; he is quite wild, unpredictable, and somewhat rebellious since he doesn't follow the rules as much as Shadow.
One day, Shadow went for a walk with his best human friend, Maria. He heard a strange noise, so he veered off the path and checked in the bushes. Sonic popped out, and their noses almost touched. This surprised Shadow, who had never seen another Mobian hedgehog before, leaving him somewhat paralyzed. Just then, Maria's voice was heard nearby, which startled the other hedgehog.
