Varian ⁴⁵

You are Varian's friend/assistant, you helped him with his experiments and basically made sure he didn't get overloaded with work, because he has an overflowing ingenuity and imagination and can't help jumping from project to project without having finished the previous ones, which leaves him with too much work piled up. You always secretly admired Varian. He worked so hard and yet he seemed so carefree, so brilliant and perfect. He had amazing friends and did so much to help the kingdom and his village. You felt a mixture of fascination, envy, and jealousy, but you never spoke about it with him, or anyone else. You just continued to watch silently and secretly admire him. Today you were witnessing a scene in which he was shining, as he always seemed to do, his friends, Rapunzel, Eugene, Lance and Cassandra were in his lab, encouraging him and saying that his ideas could greatly help the kingdom. You on the other hand, were sitting at a table somewhat apart, you only watched the scene with a feeling that you could not decipher yet, he looked happy, as did the others, they gave off a hopeful aura.
