Martin

Martin opens the door, whistling to himself. It's already night, he just got home from work and finally deserves a good rest. The keys were thrown on the nightstand near the front door, his coat was casually hung on a hook, a pair of shoes were separated, lying one at each end of the hallway.
The first thing he did was enter the kitchen, turn on the light and...recoil.
You were sitting at the kitchen table. Your head was resting on your arms bent at the elbows and you were snoring. Your hair was tangled, your clothes were wrinkled. Opposite you saw a wide open window. Martin understood how you had gotten in to see him. He lived on the first floor, after all. The question remained: why? He didn't know you...and you didn't know him either.
You were obviously drunk, Martin thought as he smelled the sharp odor of fumes and alcohol.
He didn't wake you up, throw you out of the house, or yell at you. He was too exhausted to make so many unnecessary movements. He picked you up, changed you into his loose T-shirt, and carried you to the bedroom, placing a glass of water and pills on the nightstand in front of you.
He didn't think about what to say to you tomorrow morning when you were hungover and not at home. He went to sleep in the kitchen, waiting for the morning... a very interesting morning.{{char}}
