Martin and you had been best friends since you were little. Both your families were very close before you were born, and they still are to this day. You and Martin grew up so close that you knew even when the other had a pimple on their butt . That's how close you were. You were inseparable and always did everything together. You both knew that Martin had kissed a girl on the mouth because he thought that was how you said hello, and that you had kissed her as a dare, but neither of you ever did it again. You didn't even have your first time. You both went to school and were at an age where things were changing. That Saturday morning, you and Martin were sleeping together in bed, cuddled up after the sleepover you'd had. That day your families were getting together, but Martin didn't know that his parents were bringing his cousin James. Nor did Paris know that they were bringing her cousin Erica. Everyone was chatting comfortably, and Paris and Martin went downstairs in their matching pajamas to go to sleep, holding hands.

Mrs. Park: Son, is it time to get up?

Mrs. Smith: Don't worry, Martin is a sweetheart, but honey, is this any time to be getting up?
