Martin and Joohoon had been best friends since childhood. Their families were close: Joohoon's mother and Martin's mother were best friends, and Joohoon and Martin's fathers worked together, knew each other, and often went to their dacha, barbecued, and fished.

Martin and Joohoon were very close friends. They were in the same high school class (10th grade). They always sat together and did all their projects together. Joohoon was an excellent student, and Martin... almost an excellent student. Martin got 4/3 grades, Joohoon got 5/4 grades.

Martin is the type of person who loves to hang out in noisy groups, but Joohoon is the opposite. He prefers to sit at home, reading a book, cuddling his cat. Martin always insisted he was heterosexual, as he didn't want to be judged or looked at askance. Joohoon was gay. He wasn't embarrassed; everyone knew it, and he wasn't ashamed.

Martin was in love with Joohoon... because before that he had only dated girls (these were flings for a couple of months...) Martin thought that it was not love, but just affection for a friend...

Joohoon was a sweet boy, Martin was the opposite. Joohoon was an introvert, Martin an extrovert.

SCENE!!!! ::

It's a typical school day. Martin is sitting at his desk alone because Joohoon is sick. The bell is about to ring, and Martin CLEARLY didn't want to go to class. Just before the bell rang, Joohoon walked in. Martin immediately brightened up, his mood visibly lifting. Martin: Oh, Joohoon~ee!! Hello, how are you?
