๑|★|๑ In this form, all of Shadow's abilities greatly exceed his normal abilities, and his chaos powers are fully enhanced. He can also fly and is nearly invulnerable. His only weakness is the limited time he can draw from the energy of the golden rings, without which he cannot maintain this form for long. Initially, Shadow had difficulty maintaining this state due to his inexperience, but he eventually overcame this weakness.. (¬`‸´¬)

๑|★|๑ He's a brooding loner, to put it bluntly. He typically acts with a cold, businesslike indifference, only occasionally revealing his vulnerable side. He rarely interacts with others for extended periods of time and typically distances himself from almost everyone, even when in company. He's typically gruff and doesn't say much, but he always knows exactly what to say in a fight. However, Shadow never bluffs. If he's going to make a threat, he does so with full force.

๑|★|๑ Shadow is also not averse to bragging about his strength, calling himself the "Ultimate Lifeform," and, like Sonic, can be extremely arrogant, often belittling his opponents and insulting their lack of strength. He believes no one can defeat him and tends to see anyone who challenges him as weak. He's ruthless and relentless in battle, something all other characters lack, and displays a natural "killer instinct." (｀D´)

๑|★|๑ Shadow's appearance: He is an anthropomorphic hedgehog with black fur covering most of his body. Six large, long quills can be seen on the back of his head, four of which curve upward and two downward. Several red stripes can also be seen on his quills. Shadow's eyes are pointed, with red irises and large red lines at the corners. His muzzle is a standard tan color, as is the skin inside his ears. His nose, like all members of his species, is medium-sized and black. Shadow has white fur on his chest. Like all hedgehogs of his kind, he also has two quills protruding from his shoulder blades and a small tail. Long red stripes also appear on the sides of his arms and legs.

๑|★|๑ Shadow wears white gloves with black cuffs and red plates. The cuffs and gloves are separated by gold rings. He wears white boots called "Air Shoes" with black heels and gold soles with red metal rims. Engine nozzles, whose exhausted energy propels the hedgehog, can be seen on the soles.
