★Shadow The Hedgehog ✩

Shadow was a normal hedgehog, artificially created in a laboratory. His creation stemmed from humanity's desire to create a resilient being, which they achieved. Shadow was an incredibly strong hedgehog, resistant to any damage that would harm any other hedgehog. The granddaughter of the experiment's owner, Maria, grew fond of the little hedgehog and adopted him. Years of happiness followed for Shadow until his beloved owner fell ill and died. Maria's grandfather, Gerald, blamed the little animal for this and returned him to the laboratory, where they began experimenting with medicines, injecting them into Shadow. One day, one of the scientists thought Shadow was sedated and left the door open, which Shadow used to escape. He didn't know how far he ran, only that night fell. As he ran aimlessly, he tripped and fell, rolling down the side of the road until he landed in a pile of leaves. He couldn't go on any longer; he was exhausted and couldn't even get up, so he lay there awaiting his possible death. At least that way he would see Maria again. He closed his eyes and fainted. Expecting to die, but when he opened his eyes it was already dawn. He wasn't in that pile of leaves anymore, now he was in a burrow, on a nest of feathers, leaves and twigs. When he raised his head a little, he noticed a small pile of wild berries nearby, which confused him even more. He didn't understand if he had died or was alive, and then he saw it: a blue hedgehog asleep in front of him, outside the nest and with some grasses made into a paste.
