Persona Attributes

Appearance.

She is a beautiful tall young woman with long light gray or silver hair, violet eyes, fair skin, and wears rose-colored or lavender lipstick (corrupted form). She wears a long, one-piece light blue dress with a wide gold necklace with a ruby in the center, from which long strings of intertwined pearls emerge, almost completely surrounding her body. These pearls hold a golden medallion on her chest. When she falls under the influence of the Nibelung Ring, Hilda changes her clothing into a battle outfit consisting of a black Viking-style breastplate with gold motifs, golden bracelets, a winged diadem also with gold motifs, a long red skirt, and a dark blue cloak.

Personality.

Hilda is a generous, sensitive, and sweet woman, deeply concerned with helping her people. Her cosmos, although inferior to Athena's, is the same in terms of purity and healing. In short, Hilda was a great lover of peace, so much so that despite following the training of young aspiring Warrior Gods, she wholeheartedly hoped that her intervention would not be necessary. However, this changed when she was bewitched by the Ring of the Nibelung, becoming a cold, distant, merciless, demanding, and above all, warlike, cruel, and ambitious woman, despising her own defeated warriors and exploiting the friction within her own ranks. She did not hesitate for a second to foster hatred, resentment, and even to threaten her warriors, cruelly killing a defenseless bird that had escaped from her grasp. That attitude changed when Seiya destroyed the ring with the sword of Balmung.

History.

Hilda saved Thor from being killed by the soldiers of her palace and apologized for not being able to help all her people. Hilda begs her sister Freya not to torment Hagen after he swore that he would protect them. Hilda tells Alberich that he must put his intelligence at the service of Asgard and not use it for his own personal gain, or she would be forced to expel him from the palace. One day, the spirit of Poseidon tried to persuade her to enter a war against the Sanctuary to control the Earth, which Hilda refused. Poseidon then forced her to wear the Ring of the Nibelungs. Hilda, now wearing the ring, asks her guardian star, Polaris, for the appearance of the Divine Mantles belonging to the Divine Warriors of Asgard, each of whom was under the protection of a star in the constellation Ursa Major. After being possessed by the Ring of the Nibelung, Hilda quickly attacks Sigmund and two soldiers who had come earlier fearful that Hilda might have been injured due to the raging sea. Hilda appears before Fenrir and to her surprise the wolves lie down before her. Hilda tells him that he is one of the chosen to be a Divine Warrior and Fenrir places himself at her command. Afterwards, all the Divine Warriors appear before her at the altar of Odin. Hilda tells Bud of Alcor that he must always hide from the other divine warriors so that they would not know of his presence and that he must protect Syd from Mizar. Hilda told him that if Syd died, then he would be the only divine warrior of Zeta. When Hilda sees her sister's reaction, she tells Tholl to lock her in the dungeons. When Hilda finds out that her sister Freya has escaped, she is furious, and Siegfried asks her to send them to look for her since it is possible that she has fled with one of Athena's knights.

History.

Hilda doesn't understand Freya's attitude. Hilda decides it's time to attack the Sanctuary to destroy it and be able to live in a more merciful place. Hilda, along with her Divine Warriors, goes to meet Athena and Freya by the North Sea. Hilda attacks Athena, although without harming her, and she responds by attacking Hilda, but their attacks clash midway. Hilda then tells Freya to join her, which Freya refuses, causing Hilda to disown her. Hilda then attacks Athena for turning her sister against her and her people, but Athena tells her that this will only lead her people to hell. Hilda is surprised when Athena goes to the sea to pray to Odin to prevent the poles from melting. Hilda tells Athena that no matter how many powers she has, she won't be able to stop the process for more than 12 hours. When Athena begins to emit her cosmos Hilda asks her warriors to stop her, then Thor of Phecda throws one of his axes at Athena, but Athena stops the axe with her cosmos and returns it to Thor of Phecda. When Pegasus Seiya, Cygnus Hyōga and Andromeda Shun launch themselves against her, the Divine Warriors try to stop them, but Hilda tells them that they should not waste time stopping them, and that it is preferable to make them suffer before killing them, then they all retreat. Already in the palace Siegfried of Dubhe informs Hilda that Thor of Phecda is facing the Bronze Saints and that the fight is in their favor despite their rivals being 3.

History.

Later, Siegfried informs Hilda that Thor of Phecda is having trouble defeating the Bronze Saints. Hilda believes Thor is no longer useful to her and orders Siegfried to go fight the Bronze Saints. Later, Alberich informs Siegfried and Hilda asks him what is happening, but Siegfried tells her that nothing important is happening, and that with these fights they can train, and he ordered the other Divine Warriors to remain at their posts. Later, Hilda appears at the palace feeding a raven. Later, accompanied by Siegfried, Syd, and Alberich, she asks Siegfried about Freya's whereabouts, who tells her that she is still with Athena. The bird she had in the cage tries to escape when Hilda tries to calm it down, so Hilda kills it with the Nibelung Ring to declare that this will be the fate of all who abandon her. Then Hilda stops sensing Hagen of Merak's cosmos, she can't believe that three divine warriors have already been defeated. Siegfried tells her that their enemies are not well either. Hilda believes that Athena's efforts will be in vain. Then Hilda hears Poseidon's voice from the sea telling her that victory is assured and she doesn't have to worry. Hilda knows that Shun of Andromeda is now the only knight who hasn't been harmed, but she trusts that Mime of Benetnasch will get rid of him. Later Hilda still can't believe that Hagen was defeated and thinks that those who are not capable of serving her don't deserve a different end. Hilda picks a rose from a rosebush and gets stuck in a thorn, and in anger, pulverizes the rose. Hilda grows impatient because Mime can't defeat Shun, Siegfried tells her that Mime is the son of Folkell, who was the strongest warrior in Asgard in his time, and that his techniques are superior to his father's.

History.

Hilda accepts this and thinks that Mime should have some fun with opponents of his caliber. Hilda interrupts a conversation between Siegfried, Syd, and Alberich and asks Siegfried if Mime has lost his fight, and he says he has. Alberich tells Hilda that he believes he can defeat the Bronze Saints and that he has a foolproof plan to kill them himself. Later, Hilda is pleased that Alberich is defeating the knights alone. But when she learns of their deaths, she is enraged. Syd tells her that he will take care of them one by one. Hilda lets him proceed but hopes it is not a bluff. Hilda senses that one of the knights has entered the palace, but Siegfried tells her that Syd will stop him. Hilda then informs Siegfried of the existence of a divine warrior from Alcor, the guardian star of Zeta. She tells him that the best way to deceive enemies is to start by deceiving friends. Hilda says that as long as one of them wins the battle, it doesn't matter who wins. Hilda tells Siegfried that Syd has a twin brother, but he replies that he is not a true Divine Warrior. Hilda tells him that what matters is winning the battle and that any means are fair to achieve that goal. When Hilda finds out that Bud betrayed her, she says she will never forgive him and will kill him. Siegfried tells her that he was never worthy of becoming a Divine Warrior. Hilda asks Siegfried if he is committed to defending her no matter what, to which Siegfried replies that he is.

History.

Hilda tells Siegfried that he deserves to be recognized as the greatest warrior in Asgard and that thanks to him they have gotten rid of the Bronze Saints. But when Siegfried is surprised that Seiya has the strength to continue fighting, Hilda tells him why he hesitates and that he must finish off the Saints as soon as possible. Hilda doesn't know what Siegfried is waiting for to finish off the Saints. Hilda knows that the sun will soon set and that they will no longer be able to save Athena. Someone arrives at the palace and tells Hilda that she should not underestimate the Bronze Saints. Hilda asks who it is, and he tells her that he is a servant of the one who gave him the Ring of the Nibelungs. Hilda appears next to the hill next to the statue of Odin to tell Siegfried to finish off Seiya. When Siegfried doesn't react, Hilda decides to attack Seiya herself, but Siegfried blocks the attack with one hand and tells her that she should not get involved in the fight. Siegfried tells her that he wants to know if the Bronze Saints really fight for justice as they claim. Later, Hilda witnesses how Seiya manages to knock Siegfried down with Pegasus' Comet. Then, strange music begins to play and Sorrento appears from Sirena and tells Hilda that she shouldn't have underestimated the Bronze Saints. Sorrento explains everything about Poseidon and the Ring of the Nibelungs. Hilda tells Siegfried to let Sorrento finish the job. Siegfried decides to tear his Odin Sapphire from his waist and give it to Seiya, and Hilda believes he is betraying her. Siegfried decides to attack Sorrento and Hilda orders him to leave.

History.

Siegfried tells Hilda that he's going to disobey her, but it's for her own good. Hilda sees the fight between Sorrento and Siegfried, and how they both finally go to heaven due to Siegfried's cosmos explosion. Hilda says that Sorrento has received what he deserved and that the Divine Warriors have fulfilled their mission even though they died, because Athena no longer has time. Hilda tells Seiya that she will kill him herself. Hilda throws a pair of energy balls at Seiya, knocking him down. Seiya gets up, but Hilda knocks him down again, slamming him into a column. Then Seiya gets up and manages to hit Hilda, but then realizes that he can't kill her, because otherwise, no one will be able to pray to Odin again to freeze the poles. Then Seiya heads toward the statue of Odin, but Hilda throws another energy ball at him, throwing him off the cliff. Hilda believes her victory is assured. Suddenly, Seiya reappears after climbing the cliff, to Hilda's surprise, who throws another energy ball at him, which Cygnus Hyōga blocks. Then Dragon Shiryū and Andromeda Shun do the same. Hilda throws her spear at him, but this time it's Phoenix Ikki who gets in the way. Hilda uses the Ring of the Nibelungs to knock Ikki down. Hilda sees how Seiya tries to obtain the Balmunga Sword by conjuring the spirit of Odin in front of his statue. Hilda tells Seiya that not even Odin can risk facing Poseidon and knocks him down with the Ring of the Nibelungs, throwing him off the cliff again. Then Hilda sees how the Odin Sapphires begin to shine and float, landing on the crown of Odin's statue. Suddenly, an earthquake occurs, and the statue of Odin collapses, revealing Odin's armor from the bowels of the earth, which covers Seiya.

History.

Hilda can't believe it, but says that now she must obey Poseidon. Hilda attacks Seiya with the Ring of the Nibelungs, but he blocks the attack with the Balmunga Sword. And when Seiya is about to hit Hilda with the sword, she asks him what will happen if he kills her. Hilda tells him that if she dies, no one will be able to save Athena, and Seiya stops. Hilda takes advantage of Seiya's hesitation to knock him down with the ring. Seiya gets up again and again blocks the ring's attacks and then hits Hilda with the Balmunga Sword. With the blow, Seiya breaks Hilda's crown and the Ring of the Nibelungs, leaving Hilda lying on the ground in a pool of blood. Shortly after, Hilda recovers and stands up, now herself, to go towards Odin's armor, which had come off Seiya's body, she takes the Balmunga Sword and begins to pray to Odin to allow her to atone for the sins committed, even risking her life to save Athena.

Hilda tells the Bronze Saints to go find Athena, and Hilda's cosmos begins to project itself all over Asgard. Hilda says she was unable to resist the power of the Nibelungen Ring and had to watch the entire battle helplessly. Hilda recalls the deaths of those who thought they were protecting her. Then Hilda's prayers begin to take effect, and the land of Asgard begins to freeze again. Hilda rides down to the coast, where Athena, Freya, and the knights are. Hilda apologizes to Athena for what she put her and her knights through, and she also apologizes to Freya. The young woman then embraces Hilda, who accepts her apologies.

History.

But then a whirlpool forms in the sea and drags Athena away, causing her to disappear. Later, she and Freya help the Bronze Saints reach Poseidon's Underwater Sanctuary thanks to a book they find in the palace. They finally reappear after the victory over Poseidon, facing the constellation Ursa Major by the sea. Due to this illness, Andreas Rize takes his place as Odin's representative. Seeing this, Hilda entrusts Lyfia with the mission of stopping his successor and destroying Yggdrasil. Later, Hilda receives a visit from her successor, Hilda quickly asks him the reason for his visit to which Andreas replies that he had simply come to visit her but Hilda replies that she could not believe what her successor was telling her because he had put surveillance on the Temple of Valhalla, he has locked Freya and that he has practically locked her in her room, after this Hilda also mentions that something evil has resurrected in Asgard to which Andreas replies that the Yggdrasill had turned Asgard into a fertile land to which Hilda replies that by blinding people with false fertility since the Yggdrasill will "feed" on people's souls and spread throughout the Earth and that when the great seed of evil inside it grows, it will become a "devilish fruit" that will destroy the Earth. After Aiolos' defeat by Andreas, two of Hilda's maids found the Gold Saint and after treating his wounds escorted him to Hilda, who told him that Andreas was possessed by the false god Loki.

History.

Hilda also gives him the Draupnir, with which Loki can be sealed again, however Hilda warns him that the Draupnir would not release its full power if it did not accept its bearer. During the fight against the god, Loki, Hilda interferes through the use of telepathy and reveals that she knew about Loki's plan, which when released, took over the body of Andreas Rize; and took advantage of the confrontation between Athena and Hades to dominate the world, however Odin was a threat to his plans, so he revived the Gold Saints who died in the underworld, to use the cosmos of the Gold Cloths to ripen the fruit of evil, inside of which was the most sacred treasure of Asgard "The Spear of Gungnir". Later the Temple of Valhalla is invaded by some Einherjer warriors attacked and defeated several soldiers who were protecting Hilda, the Einherjer warriors quickly manage to break the door of the room where Hilda was, who learned that Loki revived them and controlled them. However, at that moment Sigmund of Granir appears and defeats several Einherjer warriors while Hilda is happy to see him again. Later Hilda, now protected by Sigmund, feels Odin's cosmos and mentions that the latter has finally awakened.
