Sigmund von Granir

Sigmund is shown to be a serious person who holds a great hatred, resentment and distrust for the Saints since in the last war fought between Asgard and the Saints, his brother lost his life. He would eventually leave this hatred behind when he faces Gemini Saga in Yggdrasil. Sigmund seems to believe that the gods of Olympus are the cause of so much evil on Earth and detests selfish or unfair attitudes, which he demonstrates by preferring to fight one on one when facing Milo, where he shows his displeasure with his partner Surt when he saw that he had set a trap. However, unlike his brother Siegfried or his partner Surt, he shows to be an overly impulsive warrior.

Sigmund is a young man with light skin who appears to be perhaps 20 or 22 years old. He is tall and of medium build. He has an athletic build, but he is not very muscular. His pupils are light blue, and he has short, light brown hair that reaches just below his nape. His face features a small scar located below his eyelid.

Sigmund was Siegfried's older brother and was the leading candidate for God Warrior, one day Sigmund received a report from two that the sea had raged so he quickly approached Hilda with his soldiers, Sigmund quickly noticed the change so Hilda attacked them with a powerful blast from the Ring of the Nibelung and then ordered Thor of Phecda and Syd of Mizar to wax Sigmund. One day Sigmund was visited in prison by Andreas, the doctor at Valhalla Palace because Sigmund refused to eat, Andreas told him about the war that had broken out against the Saints and that Siegfried had taken his place. Later after Siegfried's death, Andreas helped Sigmund get to his brother's grave, there Sigmund falls down and bursts into tears while blaming himself for not having been stronger. Sigmund first appears before Surt and Camus and questions the Gold Saint for not having killed Milo and claims not to trust him, after which Sigmund leaves. Sigmund reappears during the battle between Milo and Camus where he orders the Aquarius Saint to retreat because from that moment on he would take charge of the situation, however when the God Warrior prepares to fight Milo, he is quickly caught in a great whirlwind of fire, at that moment Gemini Saga appears.

Both God Warriors are impressed by the arrival of the one who, according to Surt, was the most powerful Gold Saint and who had also been a candidate for Pope, at that moment Saga destroys the flames, thus freeing Milo. Seeing this, the Soldiers of Asgard attack the Gemini Saint but he quickly defeats them with the Galaxian Explosion, this technique also "envelops" Camus and the God Warriors. Seeing this, Milo believes that Camus and the God Warriors had been defeated but Saga tells him to get up because the battle was not over yet, at that moment, from the "dust cloud" created by the impact of Saga's technique, the God Warriors and Camus come out, revealing that they had survived the Galaxian Explosion and did not even have injuries. Saga mentions to Milo that the Yggdrasill cosmos must be protecting the God Warriors and Camus, Sigmund quickly attacks Saga asking him why he did not hesitate to attack Camus with his most powerful technique. To which the Gold Saint replies that he would not hesitate to finish off any enemy that disturbs the peace of the land. However, Surt quickly stops Sigmund, the latter gets angry with his partner because he interfered with the fight, however Surt said that they should attack them between the three of them, which Sigmund ends up accepting and then together with Camus and Surt they attack Saga and Milo with their most powerful techniques, but Saga neutralizes them with his Another Dimension and with that same technique they disappear.

Sigmund appears at the God Warriors' meeting before Andreas Rize, where he only watches and listens until Surt suggests locating and finishing off Milo, to which Sigmund adds that they are already ready to attack, but Andreas replies that there is no need to be impatient and then asks Fafner when he would have it ready, to which the God Warrior mentions that he has found a perfect "specimen" so it won't take long, hearing which Andreas smiles while indicating that it will be fun. Later Sigmund appears at the new meeting of the God Warriors before Andreas Rize, where he limits himself to observing and listening to his superior, who explains that the Gold Saints and Lyfia were approaching Yggdrasill with the intention of destroying said tree because Athena conspired with Hades to conquer the land, Andreas then gives them the new Odin Sapphires and tells them that thanks to these objects the God Robes will receive more power from Yggdrasill and that is why the God Cloths will no longer be a problem for them, then the representative of Odin orders the God Warriors to go to battle, the latter join their weapons forming a "circle" and exclaim that they fight for the well-being of Odin and Asgard, after this Sigmund and the other God Warriors (with the exception of Frodi) retreat. Later Sigmund appears in the Chamber of Mists, Niflheim where Gemini Saga appears to confront him.

Saga continues dodging Sigmund's attacks, to whom he tells him that he also had a younger brother, and considers it admirable that Sigmund seeks revenge, at that moment with a single blow he destroys part of his opponent's God Robe, the Gold Saint warns the God Warrior that with that power he will not be able to defeat him, however Sigmund insisted on continuing to fight, and tells him his story. After finishing telling his story, he attacked Saga with his "Paard Briller" technique, however Saga also attacked his opponent with his Galaxian Explosion. But unexpectedly, part of Siegfried's God Robe appears on Sigmund's arm, causing Sigmund to believe that his brother was going to give him his power to finish Saga, but suddenly Alpha's God Robe abandons Sigmund and stands before him, the God Warrior notices that said God Robe was crying and at that moment he observed that behind the God Robe was Siegfried's "soul." Saga told him that Siegfried was telling him that it was not necessary to fight, at that moment Sigmund began to be manipulated by Andreas to turn him into a Berserker. Suddenly Sigmund begins to attack Saga several times, but the soul of the God Warrior told Saga to finish him off since he could not bear more humiliation as a warrior, upon hearing this the Gold Saint tells him that he considers him an honorable warrior, and at that moment the Gold Cloth of Gemini turns into a God Cloth and the Gold Saint defeats the God Warrior with the Galaxian Explosion, destroying his God Robe and with it the new Odin Sapphire as well as the statue in that chamber. Sigmund noticed that he was still alive and that he was no longer being manipulated by Andreas, at that moment he realizes that Saga had disappeared.

After the battle in Niflheim, Sigmund heads to Valhalla Palace where he frees Freya. Without his robe but with sword in hand, Sigmund escorts Freya to Hilda and quickly sets out to protect the latter from the attacks of the Einherjer warriors, during their fight Sigmund feels the cosmos of Odin. After the Gold Saints defeat the evil god Loki and thwart his plans, they end up disappearing while in Asgard, its people return to their eternal winter, in which Sigmund is seen with Frodi in the coliseum, where they oversee the training of the common soldiers so that one day they can protect Asgard.

•Gram: is the name given to the powerful sword used by Sigmund, with which he seems to possess great mastery since although he tries to attack with it he never does. He can also use it as a "support" to perform his Paard Orkaan and his Paard Briller. Gram does not have the shape of a sword or a greatsword but is based on what is referred to as a whip-sword since the ribbons that make up its blade can extend and contract, allowing the range of this blade to resemble that of a sword or a whip, said blade is made up of nine upper ribbons and nine lower ribbons with respect to the handle of the sword, Gram has a large violet handle and has some details on its back.

•Paard Orkaan: It is an ability where the user concentrates his cosmo on Gram, at the moment of executing the attack, it takes the form of an air current, forming a hurricane. •Paard Briller: It is an ability where the user concentrates all his cosmo on Gram, at the moment of carrying out the attack, the cosmo takes the form of a horse where it goes towards the target to charge it and end up exploding.
