Persona Attributes

Appearance.

Rhadamanthys appears as a young adult, physically between 23 and 28 years old. He is 189 cm tall, taller than average, with an athletic and strong physique due to his warrior status, giving him a strong physical appearance. He has fair skin. His face has rather rough features, giving him a serious and aggressive appearance; his most prominent features are his large, almost joined eyebrows and his sharp, cold eyes. He has blond, tousled hair.

Personality.

He is shown to be rough, violent, boastful, uncompromising, proud, and arrogant. He doesn't mind breaking the rules imposed on him by Pandora if he considers it necessary; he is always trying to do something so that his lord Hades and the other Specters obtain victory in the Holy War, as demonstrated in his first appearance, when he asks Pandora to let him take charge of killing Athena and disobeys her by sending the Specters to the Sanctuary, or when she summons him and the other Underworld Leaders to hear Orpheus' recital, because he believes it's better to deal with Athena's Saints first. He is very cautious and distrustful of the ex-Saints who serve Hades (both the revived ones and Orpheus). Rhadamanthys shows great confidence in himself and his powers, saying that even without Hades' barrier, he could have finished off the Gold Saints. He has a great passion for the battlefield, so much so that he gave up being a nobleman to join the ranks of Hades' army. He is rough and aggressive in battle, and possesses a degree of loyalty to the point that he doesn't care if he is fatally wounded or torn apart, he will continue on. Likewise, he has been shown to be capable of submitting to Pandora, due to this strong loyalty to his god.

History 1

Rhadamanthys was born a young man of noble family who renounced his life as a human, abandoning his name and surname to take that of the Wyvern Kyotō to serve Hades. He, along with his servant Valentine, was one of the first specters to appear before the young Pandora. Rhadamanthys is sent on a mission to defeat Ilias, the Golden Saint of Leo. Ilias lives as a hermit with his son Regulus; the Judge leads a group of Specters against the Saint. While Rhadamanthys fights a sick Ilias, he notices the child's presence and decides to kill them both. Ilias rises, saying he won't let him harm his son. As the two attack with their best techniques, Ilias tells Regulus to leave; he has his own destiny. After the clash of powers, it is shown that Ilias's attack shattered the horn that was aimed at his son, while he himself was killed. At an unknown time, Rhadamanthys appears before Sylphid, a solitary Specter who emitted a powerful poisonous aura. However, Rhadamanthys defeats him, proving to be the only one capable of surviving that toxic aura. Filled with admiration for the Wyvern, Sylphid decided to serve the Meikai Kyotō. At that moment, the elite of the Kyotō emerge: Valentine of the Harpy, Gordon of the Minotaur, and Queen of the Alraune. Rhadamanthys first appears alongside Aiacos and Minos, among other specters, at the meeting in Italy convened by the "god Hades," who is none other than Alone, where Pandora selects Minos of the Griffin and his troop, assigning them the mission of invading the Sanctuary of the goddess Athena and assassinating her Saints.

History 2

After Hades' imprisonment at the hands of Pandora, who had received the order from the twin gods Hypnos and Thanatos, the young woman summons Rhadamanthys and Aiacos, informing them of what happened. Meanwhile, Kardia of Scorpio and Dégel of Aquarius travel to the North Pole (Bluegard) to obtain Poseidon's orichalcum, to place it on the ship that would take them to the Lost Canvas where Emperor Hades is located. Realizing Athena's plans, Rhadamanthys and Pandora attack them to prevent them from obtaining the orichalcum. Rhadamanthys pierces Unity's chest, provoking Dégel's fury, who uses his Aurora Execution to attack the Meikai Kyotō. Faced with the failed attempt, Kardia intervenes and decides to stay and fight Rhadamanthys while Dégel advances to stop Pandora, who had already obtained Poseidon's orichalcum. After a violent battle, Kardia discovers that Rhadamanthys is the rival he has sought for so long, and that his heart burned with a desire to fight. Therefore, he uses a variation of his Scarlet Needle, the Scarlet Needle Katakeo (burning), equating the level of heat in his heart with his cosmos, which has the side effect that he will also suffer from the wounds he inflicts on his enemy. This ultimately causes Kardia's heart to slowly stop, but not before he sees his opponent (Rhadamanthys) dead. He reappears before Alone to ask for forgiveness and to be allowed to fight by his side again, at which point Pharaoh of the Sphinx appears and calls him "Former Judge of Hell" (implying that he has been stripped of that title), then begins to punish him with his Balance of Curse, leading him to take his own heart and place it on the scales.

History 3

Alone intervenes and tells him that it's no longer necessary, taking his burning heart (due to Kardia's fiery scarlet needles) and placing some of his own blood on it to heal him, then naming him "Guardian of the cursed house of Saturn." Rhadamanthys was suffering from possessing a part of Alone's blood in his heart. Valentine of Arpia then protects him until he is fully healed. Shortly after, Pandora appears with Cheshire of Caith Sith and reveals that Rhadamanthys had infiltrated the cursed houses so that Alone wouldn't suspect him. Valentine doesn't want Pandora and Rhadamanthys to meet, so he begins to fight Pandora, but before she can kill him, Rhadamanthys leaves the house, with his evolved surplice, ready to serve Pandora. Knowing this, Valentine runs to kill Pandora but is murdered by Rhadamanthys. His final battle takes place against Regulus of Leo in the house of Saturn, where it is shown that his power is like that of a god and clearly surpasses Regulus. Regulus manages to perform the Athena Exclamation by himself, but it doesn't work. Then he manages to raise his power to the total of the 12 Golden Knights and unleashes all his power against Rhadamanthys, who is only slightly wounded while Regulus's body is destroyed, but Regulus's cosmos appears and finishes Rhadamanthys with his Lightning Void in an attack against his heart. Moments later, it is discovered that Rhadamanthys didn't really die, due to the power of his armor, so he decides to confront Alone on his own, realizing that he is not truly Hades, that Alone has taken control of him. On the way, he encounters a badly wounded Shion, but after a very short conversation, he decides to leave him alone to confront Hades.

History 4

Upon arriving, he discovers that Pandora is trying to do the same, and Alone decides to destroy their souls forever, launching a devastating attack. Rhadamanthys pushes Pandora out of the way and takes the full brunt of Alone's attack, ultimately dying, but not before unleashing his Great Caution against Alone's mural, freeing Athena and the other knights petrified by the curse. Moments later, Pandora holds Rhadamanthys's lifeless body, honoring his loyalty to Hades, and revealing that he was the one who gave him the courage to lead the Underworld army; even Alone himself acknowledges his audacity in confronting him. 247 years later, Rhadamanthys's soul returns to life to rejoin the battle. Rhadamanthys makes his first appearance after being informed by Zeros of Rana that the Saints who betrayed Athena had arrived at the Sanctuary to take the goddess's head. Rhadamanthys distrusts the word of the resurrected Saints, so, against Pandora's orders, he sends a squad of Specters to oversee and finish the work assigned to those resurrected by themselves. Suddenly, Deathmask and Aphrodite, who were defeated by Mu of Aries, inexplicably appear in Heinstein Castle, causing a commotion. Rhadamanthys is outside, preventing their passage despite their pleas for another chance, begging to see Hades. But Rhadamanthys shows no mercy and attacks them, throwing them into the hole leading to the Meikai after beating them.

History 5

After finishing off the two, he heads towards Pandora to ask permission to go to the Sanctuary, but Pandora refuses, claiming that Hades doesn't want any of the 108 Specters to die in this battle. She is confident that in just twelve hours the traitorous Saints will bring her Athena's head. While walking, Rhadamanthys encounters Zeros of Rana, who tells him that, according to his orders, he has sent dozens of Specters to the Sanctuary. Zeros questions whether this is what Pandora wanted, but Rhadamanthys silences him, saying he doesn't trust the Saints of Athena; the only important thing was to bring Athena's head at any cost. When Athena commits suicide in front of the Golden Saints, Myu's fairy, who was watching over them, arrives at the castle with the news. Zeros goes to inform him. Rhadamanthys suspects Athena's intentions in taking her own life, and Zeros threatens him with the punishment Pandora will impose on him after this incident. Rhadamanthys goes to Pandora, who reproaches him for mobilizing the Specters without her permission. Despite Rhadamanthys' apologies, she begins to punish him severely, but stops, considering it important to keep one of the three Magnates of Hades' army, and because Athena had also committed suicide (Pandora doesn't understand what Athena really did with her suicide until much later). However, she warns him that from now on he should serve her commands with more fidelity.

History 6

It is evident that Rhadamanthys is the most powerful specter in Hades' army, as he manages to defeat 3 Golden Knights (Mū of Aries, Milo of Scorpio, and Aiolia of Leo) simultaneously, despite previously having to face two of the 5 resurrected Gold Saints: Deathmask of Cancer and Aphrodite of Pisces, whom he sent to Yomotsu after defeating and humiliating them, making them beg for their lives. When the powerful Leader declared the battle against the Golden Saints over, they arrive at Heinstein Castle. Rhadamanthys leaves Valentine of the Harpy in charge of eliminating the remaining Saints in the castle before it collapses. As the castle collapses rapidly, ensuring death to anyone remaining inside, Valentine invites Seiya to fight in the underworld, and throws himself into the pit. Seiya immediately follows. The Bronze Saints Hyōga of Cygnus, Shiryū of Dragon, Seiya of Pegasus, and Shun of Andromeda, who would also succumb without objection to Wyvern, with the sole exception of Pegasus, who after trying for the umpteenth time, momentarily equals Rhadamanthys in cosmos and both fall into the castle pit. When Orpheus of Lyra begins a recital for Hades, the 3 judges of hell appear to listen to the music; Rhadamanthys tells Pandora that it's not time to listen to music, to which Pandora replies that there's nothing to worry about. Then Orpheus puts Pandora, Minos, and Aiacos to sleep to attack Hades; because Rhadamanthys doesn't listen to the music, he doesn't fall asleep and fights with Seiya, Orpheus, and Shun. Rhadamanthys grabs Orpheus and tells him that if he doesn't wake the others he will kill him, to which Orpheus refuses and asks Pegasus to kill him, and Pegasus accepts.

History 7

When Shun is possessed by Hades, he doesn't believe it and decides to attack him, but when he senses Hades' cosmos, he gives up his attack on Shun. Hades orders him to send Seiya to Cocytus, and he obeys. His most important battle was with Kanon of Gemini, in Hell. Despite being wounded and recognizing Rhadamanthys' power, Kanon immobilized the Specter by attacking his nervous system. When Hades possesses Shun, he swears allegiance and obeys his master's order to refrain from fighting; later, in the sixth prison, he fights Kanon again, who manages to stop his Greatest Caution and impact him with the Galaxian Explosion. However, this is interrupted by the appearance of Minos and Aiacos, who attack Kanon despite the objection of Rhadamanthys, who didn't want to be overshadowed. After being imprisoned by Minos' technique, he receives help from Ikki of Phoenix, who frees Kanon and defeats Aiacos. The conclusion of the fight against Kanon comes when Gemini is deprived of his armor when it is called along with the other 11 golden armors to begin the sacrifice of all the Gold Saints. Rhadamanthys sees this as suicide, since without the armor he wouldn't have a chance to resist his Greatest Caution. He immediately executes his attack, wounding the Judge of the second prison, the now dying Kanon, who, taking a suicidal decision, grabs Rhadamanthys from behind and ascends with him at full speed to die together. The Judge of Hell warns him that if he does that they will die, but Kanon felt his mission was accomplished and automatically ends both their lives by exploding with the "Galaxian Explosion," and from there, Kanon's armor flies through the Underworld to join the other 11 golden knights who would sacrifice their lives to break the Wall of Lamentations.

Techniques/Attacks

•Greatest Caution: This is Rhadamanthys's most powerful technique and is also used by those who have worn the Wyvern Surplice. To perform this technique, the user ignites their cosmos to its maximum and concentrates it between their hands, bringing them together and placing them in front of them, pointing towards the opponent. Then, they release from their palms a powerful wave of cosmic energy in the form of countless spheres that relentlessly strike the opponent's body until the user stops their attack. •Greatest Decision: This technique involves Radamanthys concentrating his cosmos in his right hand, shaping it into a small, dark galaxy. While preparing this technique, he can release a dark shockwave in a straight line from the concentrated cosmos in his hand to protect himself from any counterattacks by his opponent. Once he has finished concentrating his cosmos and is ready to attack, he clenches his fist, crushing the dark galaxy, and then points it at his opponent, releasing a powerful, straight, dark shockwave, similar to a laser beam, capable of destroying and cutting through anything in its path. •Greeding Roar: is a technique of Rhadamanthys of the Wyvern in which the user raises his cosmos and then through a powerful roar launches a destructive shockwave at his opponents or this roar can also be used to stop cosmos techniques of his enemies. •Greatest Damnation: He concentrates his cosmos in his right hand and, propelling himself with a leap, launches himself toward his opponent. Upon reaching them, his hand, now enveloped in an aura of cosmos that takes the form of a Wyvern's claw, grabs the adversary's head and slams it violently against the ground. The impact causes his enemy to bleed, and without letting go, he channels an intense discharge of energy through his hand, unleashing a direct explosion in their face.
