Fafner of Nidhogg

Fafner is a man with light skin, dark brown or reddish brown eyes who appears to be in adulthood, this warrior has light gray or silver hair.

Fafner is described by Lyfia, and as his actions demonstrate, as a cruel and sadistic man who, in order to carry out his mission successfully, does not hesitate to perform cruel acts such as experimentation on human beings, even going so far as to threaten his subordinates with experimenting on their bodies, however Fafner has also shown to be a warrior loyal to Odin and his representative, Andreas Rize, this God Warrior like his comrade in arms, also seems to be a warrior who firmly believes that the end justifies the means because he seeks the well-being of Asgard even if it means using the inhabitants of Asgard for his experiments. Fafner is also shown to be a warrior who does not care what method he must use to ensure his victory even if it requires using a group of children and thanks to them threatening his opponent that if he were to die the children would never return to the world of the living.

Fafner is first seen in one of Asgard's forests, walking with a group of soldiers. Andreas ordered Fafner to investigate Yggdrasil, and to do so, Fafner orders several of his subordinates to kidnap civilians from a small village and take them to a large church he had taken as his center of operations. When one of his subordinates asks his companion what he thought was Fafner's reason for carrying out experiments on humans, when they are surprised by Fafner himself who hints that after the villagers, he will experiment on them two, however at that moment Mu of Aries appears. Seeing him, the God Warrior deduces that he is the Saint who was in Asgard and then considers that within the hierarchy of the Saints, a Gold Saint is the one who would be the best material so he orders his two subordinates to capture him but they are quickly defeated by Mu using his psychokinesis. Seeing this, Fafner considers this ability to be very interesting so he prepares to fight. After both warriors introduce themselves, the God Warrior warns his enemy that a Gold Cloth is no match for a God Robe in Asgard, then Fafner attacks the Saint of Aries, who protects himself by using the Crystal Wall but to his surprise the God Warrior's whip destroys the wall leaving Mu defenseless, after this Fafner He approaches his rival and tells him that he doesn't have to worry since he wouldn't kill him yet.

Once the Gold Saint is bound by the roots of Yggdrasil, Fafner sets out to begin his experiments and then causes the forbidden tree to begin absorbing Mu's cosmos, after which the God Warrior realizes that the Gold Saint is still alive while Mu tells him that if Fafner was expecting him to beg for his life, he was wrong. After hearing these words, the God Warrior asks him how much longer he can resist. After causing another energy discharge to the Gold Saint, Fafner mentions that he is a man who does not stay calm unless he tries it for himself and thanks Mu for having entertained him but doubts that he can still hear him but to his surprise the Gold Saint was still alive and it is he who thanks him because like Fafner, because thanks to the fact that the God Warrior captured him, he learned something about Yggdrasill after this Muu is released from the roots of the forbidden tree and mentions that like Fafner he is a person who does not stay calm unless he tries it for himself, after a few words from Muu where he explains his way of thinking, Fafner attacks him again with his whip but this is stopped by the Starlight Extinction of the Saint of Aries, which impacts against the God Warrior, the latter gets up after receiving the blow, the Gold Saint mentions that he is aware that Yggdrasill grew after absorbing his cosmos thus giving more power to the God Robe and these in turn to the God Warriors but reminds him that he He is not the only Gold Saint who is in Asgard at that time, to Fafner's surprise Aiolia arrives, forcing the God Warrior to retreat but not before telling Mū that what he learned from Yggdrasill was useless.

Fafner appears at the God Warriors' meeting before Andreas Rize, where he initially limits himself to only observing and listening until Odin's representative asks him when he will have it ready? To which the God Warrior replies that he has found a perfect "specimen" so it won't be long. Upon hearing this, Andreas smiles as he mentions that it will be fun. Later, Fafner knocks on Helena's door and when she answers, he greets her and promises to treat her illness. Fafner reappears in the hospital, the God Warrior manages to create a kind of "sapphire" but at that moment Aphrodite of Pisces arrives at that place telling him that he came there because he had been guided by the Flowers to see this Fafner prepares to fight but is forced to drop his spear leaving him at the mercy of the Gold Saint who attacks him with his Royal Demon Rose, however Fafner is not willing to "give" any kind of information to the Saint but he replies that he did not need the "collaboration" of the God Warrior and then alters Fafner's nervous system after this Aphrodite prepares to definitively defeat the God Warrior but at that moment Andreas Rize appears.

Later Fafner appears at the new meeting of the God Warriors before Andreas Rize, where he only observes and listens to his superior, who explains that the Gold Saints and Lyfia were approaching Yggdrasill with the intention of destroying said tree because Athena conspired with Hades to conquer the land, Andreas then gives them the new Odin Sapphires and tells them that thanks to these objects the God Robes will receive more power from Yggdrasill and that is why the God Cloths will no longer be a problem for them, then the representative of Odin orders the God Warriors to go to battle, the latter join their weapons forming a "circle" and exclaim that they fight for the well-being of Odin and Asgard, after this Fafner and the other God Warriors (with the exception of Frodi) retreat. Later Fafner appears before Mu when he arrives at the Svartálfaheim chamber, the Gold Saint quickly attacks the God Warrior by using Psychokinesis, however Fafner gets up again causing Mu to attack him again by using Psychokinesis, after this Mu sets out to destroy the statue of Svartálfaheim, however, Fafner gets up again surrounded by a strange glow.

Fafner violently throws Mu to the ground, who is surprised since Fafner's cosmos had increased, then the God Warrior explains that his new Odin Sapphire amplifies the powers of the Yggdrasil and that the God Robes could take more power from the forbidden tree, then he told him that it was difficult to find suitable specimens and Mu remembers the people locked in the "hospital" and the Gold Saint realized that Fafner sacrificed those people to gain more power, however the fight is interrupted by Deathmask of Cancer, who through the Seki Shiki Meikai Ha sends the soul of the God Warrior to Yomotsu Hill, Deathmask quickly also appears in that place to defeat the God Warrior. On Yomotsu Hill, Deathmask was preparing to defeat Fafner, but the God Warrior told him to look at the row of dead people. There, Deathmask sees Helena's brothers. Fafner explains that although the children had not died in his death, they would too. The God Warrior then attacks Deathmask several times and sends him back. Fafner's cosmos increased even more since the Odin Sapphire could absorb the power of the dead. Then, the God Warrior attacks the Gold Saint again with his "Dragonewt Bullet" technique, and Deathmask is knocked to the ground. Fafner steps on his face while demanding that he take him to Earth. Suddenly, the Gold Saint hears the voices of Helena's brothers, asking him to defeat the God Warrior. Immediately, the Gold Cloth of Cancer turns into a God Cloth. Deathmask then uses the Seki Shiki Meihitsugi Ha against Fafner, destroying his God Robe in the process, while the soul of the God Warrior is trapped on Yomotsu Hill, Deathmask tells him that Fafner was someone who did not deserve to live or die and that he would suffer for all eternity, thus freeing the souls of Helena's brothers.

•Whip: Fafner possesses a black whip that is capable of being hidden within the hand protection belonging to the God Robe, the God Warrior is capable of taking it out and using it to attack his enemies and then putting it back inside said protection, Fafner has demonstrated great mastery in the handling of this whip since he was able to easily destroy the Crystal Wall.
•Ridill: Fafner is able to withdraw the "tail" that is present in his God Robe, once in the hands of its bearer it takes the form of a "Sword" called Ridill, however given that Aphrodite quickly forced Fafner to release this Spear, it is unknown how skilled the God Warrior was with it.

•Dragonewt Bullet: Fafner concentrates his cosmos on Ridill and then launches "bursts" or "bullets" of cosmos that impact his opponent.
