Persona Attributes
Appearance.
Being Syd's twin brother, Bud is identical to him in appearance. He is a young man, somewhat muscular, with long greenish hair. His facial expression is more aggressive than his brother's. His attire, without armor, is a light blue cape, and his robes are light turquoise.
Personality.
Bud felt a great hatred towards his brother Syd and his parents for having abandoned him when he was little. This hatred was what motivated him in his steps and his training, becoming a stronger warrior than his brother. His hatred towards Syd increased even more by the fact that he was relegated to being his shadow to protect him, despite being a more powerful warrior than him, and his only desire was to wait for the moment when Syd died to take his place as God Warrior. Despite everything, thanks to his battle against Ikki, Bud's true feelings were revealed: he became his brother's shadow to protect him. When Syd, using his last strength to help Bud defeat Ikki, revealed himself to be aware of his brother's existence, and was willing to sacrifice himself so he could take his place as God Warrior, Bud refused to kill him because he was moved by what Ikki taught him, confirming that he always loved him.
History.
Bud was born into one of the noblest families in Asgard, but lived with a simple villager who found him abandoned in a blizzard when he was just a baby. One day, while hunting a rabbit, he happened to meet Syd, who gave him a dagger in exchange for the animal's life, identical to the one he owned. At that moment, Bud discovers that those standing before him were his twin brother and also his real parents. Those parents who abandoned him at birth to respect the rules of Asgard, where twins were not allowed, as it was believed they brought misfortune. From that day on, he hated both his parents and his brother. Bud is chosen as the Warrior of Alcor, the shadow of Mizar, and also represents the Star Zeta, within the Big Dipper. He receives his Sacred Mantle near the lake where Syd received his. Despite being relegated again by his brother, he decides to accept being only a shadow, since Hilda promises him that he would be recognized as the true Warrior God of Zeta, if Syd were killed. He makes his first appearance, from the shadows, to prevent Hyōga and Seiya from continuing to advance inside Valhalla Palace. To do so, he demolishes part of the place, then attacks them with his powerful cold air. Later, he reappears when Syd is defeated. There he tries to harm Shun, but it is Shaina who gets in the way and ends up injured. The Silver Saint decides to confront him, but is quickly defeated, because Bud is even stronger than her brother. During this small fight, it is revealed that the one who truly defeated Aldebaran was Bud. In that battle, the Gold Saint managed to stop Syd's rapid attacks, but was seriously injured when he was hit from behind.
History.
After defeating Shaina, Bud attempts to kill an exhausted Shun, but the appearance of Ikki prevents him from doing so. The fight between them begins, with the Phoenix being overwhelmed and beaten repeatedly by his adversary, who knew his techniques from witnessing the Bronze Saint's battle with Mime. Despite this, Bud is hit by Ikki's Phantom Fist, revealing at that moment his true feelings for his brother. He loved Syd, since he subconsciously understood that he had nothing to do with the abandonment of his parents. Because of this, he always unwittingly tried to help him in his fights, as happened when the God Warrior faced Aldebaran and Shun. Bud refuses to believe his enemy's words and attacks him again, however, due to the confusion of his thoughts, his attacks are useless and later he is beaten and wounded. It is then that he resigns himself to dying and asks the Phoenix to finish him off. To everyone's surprise, Syd, who was still alive, stands up and holds Ikki by the back, hoping his brother would finish them both off so he can become the new God Warrior of Zeta. After refusing to attack them, Bud watches as Syd collapses from his earlier injuries. Regretting his actions, he takes his twin's corpse and leaves Valhalla Palace, only to fall dead in the snow.
Techniques/Attacks
•Shadow Viking Tiger Claw: Bud has strong claws that he throws with his fists, these launch blows at the speed of light that transform into multiple crossed rays accompanied by cold air capable of inflicting serious wounds on the enemy's body and freezing the environment and the rival's body.
