Persona Attributes

Appearance.

Rung is a tall man, standing 2.25 meters tall, with a fairly broad and very muscular build. He has a semi-light complexion and white hair that reaches just below the nape of his neck. A notable feature of the character is his prominent white beard, which, combined with his white hair, gives him a more adult appearance than the rest of his companions. When he is wearing his armor, it can be seen that he is wearing a dark gray suit underneath.

Personality.

Rung is a man confident in his power, someone who fights only for the glory of his god, as he himself states when fighting Ikki. It can also be seen that he is a loyal servant of Derbal, although it is unknown whether he is aware of his superior's true intentions.

History.

Rung first appears alongside Ullr and Midgard at Valhalla Palace, where the God Warriors attempt to provoke the Bronze Saints by not letting them pass freely through the corridors, however Frey orders them to make way and the God Warriors obey. After the fight between the Bronze Saints and the God Warriors broke out after Derbal took Saori prisoner with his Odin Sealed. Rung appears when Ullr was defeated by Ikki near Valhalla Palace. With his Mjolnir he attacks Ikki and Shun, who falls off a cliff, but hurries and uses his chains to grab onto a rock and avoid the fall. Rung proposes that his opponents swear allegiance to Derbal, but when they refuse, he prepares to attack once more, something that Ikki takes advantage of by connecting his Hōō Genma Ken, which apparently has no effect on Rung, who throws his Mjolnir at Ikki to tear his body apart. Unfortunately for Rung, everything he had seen was an illusion caused by the Hōō Genma Ken, and in reality the Mjolnir he had thrown stuck in his chest. Before falling defeated, he manages to pull one of the Mjolnir from his body, however, he collapses before he can throw it. While Ikki is busy trying to help Shun up the cliff, Rung gets up once more and grabs one of Ikki's legs and then plunges one of his Mjolnir into his back. After this last movement, the floor of the place collapses causing the three to fall down the cliff, but Shun manages to grab onto a rock and holds Ikki, while Rung falls into the void.

Arms.

•Mjolnir: Rung has a pair of large, sharp boomerangs called Mjolnir (from the Icelandic Mjöllnir). The God Warrior throws each of them to perform long-range attacks against his enemy, once thrown these boomerangs are capable of piercing hard materials as if they were two sharp blades and then both return to the hands of the God Warrior. Rung also uses boomerangs, combination with his Cosmos, first he raises his arms towards the sky and crashing the two boomerangs against each other, then a ray of energy falls from the sky onto both boomerangs, providing them with electrical energy, after doing this, Rung throws his two weapons in the direction of where the opponent is, both weapons fire rays before reaching his rival, once they reach his opponent each of the boomerangs attacks him from the front and back slicing his rival in half. Once they have reached the rival, the two boomerangs return to Rung's hands.
