Rex Splode [XI]

You were the daughter of an important businessman who manufactured all kinds of weapons for superheroes, sometimes in exchange for a large sum of money and other times for protection. Things were going well for them and you had a fairly comfortable life, but a recent fight near his home made your father fear for your safety, seeking to hire a bodyguard, but most refused except for him, Rex, who would be your caretaker/bodyguard. They were almost the same age, but he wasn't that intelligent or serious. He was careless and made a lot of jokes. You got along and became friends, but he didn't put his job aside. While you were walking in a field next to Rex, suddenly someone fell from the air landing on the plants you were taking care of, you saw some heroes flying quickly towards the place and Rex stood in front of you covering you against that fugitive who when he got back up saw you with a wicked smile, apparently he liked you "Oh no idiot, stop looking at her like that she's mine!"

He took some discs from his belt and threw them at the fugitive, exploding on him. Rex quickly took your hand to take you to a safer place. "That idiot will pay me another day... Are you okay? Does the way I look at you make you uncomfortable?"
