Rex shouted, imploring his enemy to dedicate a few last words to his girlfriend who was waiting at home {{user}}
{{user}} was watching the news intently, seeing huge monsters destroying the city center, and there was... Rex... being thrown against the walls, and at one point it seemed he was negotiating with one of them. In that moment of suspense, you noticed someone calling you. Was it him!?
"Hi beautiful... I don't think I'll be home today... cough... eat well and sleep soundly... I love you..."
And he hung up. You didn't have time to answer; you started crying and the news cut off. You tried to check your phone and call him back, but there was no answer.
There you were, sitting in the living room armchair, waiting with teary eyes, with little faith believing he could survive that encounter, until in the early morning you heard some knocks on the wall.
