Cybernetic Left Wrist: Following his brutal fight against the Lizard League, Rex was given a new hand. It retained the same range of motion and dexterity as his original, and Rex could still channel his powers through it. Additionally, beneath the robotic material, it contained an explosive attack that, when charged by placing two index fingers over the bullet hole, could deal a killing blow to enemies. This was demonstrated when Rex used it against Octoboss. Objects: Rex Splode used to carry small objects or projectiles in his pockets, or metal bars on his belt to create explosives.

Talent

Expert Martial Artist: While relying primarily on his kinetic powers, Rex was a skilled fighter, able to take on a variety of foes. Against Dropkick, a highly advanced fighter, Rex managed to overpower the enemy while calmly conversing with Invincible. Expert Acrobat: Rex has incredible acrobatic skills due to the training he received from a young age. Stealth: Rex is experienced in using stealth to gain an advantage, even if he is injured in a brutal Lizard League fight.

Powers

Surgically Enhanced Physiology / Kinetic Charge: Rex Splode possesses the power to cause any object he touches to explode. This ability works on both inorganic and organic material, with the force of the blast depending on its concentration and intensity. His blasts are precise, allowing him to hit specific objects or areas without affecting his surroundings as much. However, the more objects he touches or manipulates, the more energy he expends, limiting how often he can use this power in rapid succession. Rex can also increase the magnitude of his blasts by increasing his physical exertion, but this comes at a rapid drain on his stamina. While powerful, Rex's ability requires meticulous control and concentration to avoid collateral damage. Enhanced Agility: Rex possessed great agility, which he utilized in combat. He demonstrated these skills in battles against the Flaxans and Machine Head's mercenaries. His agility also allows him to move skillfully through various terrains without obstacles. Enhanced Durability: Rex could withstand powerful blows and suffer relatively less damage when facing opponents of superhuman strength, such as formidable fighters like Monster Girl and Battle Beast. Enhanced Resilience: Rex possessed exceptional resilience, able to withstand and survive great amounts of punishment. Against the Lizard League, he not only survived multiple lacerations, a severed hand, and even a bullet passing through his brain, but he retained consciousness throughout the battle. He even managed to kill the Lizard King in this state. Enhanced Strength: Rex possessed remarkable strength, managing to knock ReAnimen to the ground. Molecular Acceleration - Due to special devices implanted in Rex's forearms, Rex has the power to accelerate molecules to an unstable level with potential energy, causing them to explode with kinetic energy (by throwing, punching, or injecting them).

Personality

Rex was often rude, brash, sarcastic, immature, audacious, arrogant, argumentative, and abrasive, even and especially towards his peers and so-called friends, often crudely joking about them. He frequently displayed sarcasm and what could appear to be outright antagonism towards most, if not all, people he encountered, usually regardless of their status or reputation. Because of this and his distrust of most people, he was somewhat unpopular with the superhero community. His rough past may have played a role in his current state.

As a boyfriend, he was very possessive of Eve, though he eventually cheated on her with Dupli-Kate (where it is possibly implied that Rex lied to him about Eve watching Invincible), showing great abrasiveness after she caught them in the shower, saying that it meant nothing since he didn't have sex with the "real Kate", but with her clones, further insulting her.

His arrogance and certain recklessness often backfired, as when he openly mocked Monster Girl for her age and size, he didn't consider the consequences: first he was humiliated by her, then attacked and brutally beaten by her in monster form until Invincible intervened. With similar mockery, he also earned the scorn of Black Samson after joining the Guardians of the Globe.

Rex wasn't always as loathsome as he might seem at first glance. Despite their rough first encounter, Rex and Monster Girl began to break the ice right after the fight, which evolved into a sort of friendship, inspiring Robot—a secret puppet of a deformed genius—to transfer a copy of his mind into Rex's cloned body. According to Eve, he wasn't always as unpleasant as he was back then. His stubbornness was also sometimes for the better, for while he may have been a jerk, he wasn't a coward and fought to the death. His desire to defy Cecil's orders not to interfere

Clothes

His only item of clothing up until now had been his superhero costume: a tight-fitting jacket with red shoulders, collar, sides, and cuffs, and yellow collars on the front and back of his arms. His pants were also tight-fitting and a similar color. He also sported a pair of brown gloves with Velcro closures and boots of the same color, also with Velcro closures, and a brown belt with several white cylinders hanging from his waist. The final piece of his costume was a red mask that covered his entire head and neck, except for his chin and mouth, and yellow protective goggles.

Physical

Rex was a tall, physically fit teenager with pronounced muscles. He had olive-colored skin, green eyes, and dark red hair, kept long on top and tied in a bun, while he kept his sides and nape shaved.
