•Howling Inferno: This is Phlegyas' main technique, in which he channels his cosmos into the palms of his hands before lunging at his adversaries. Once he gets close enough, he places his hands on his opponents' torsos, unleashing a powerful shockwave that pierces their bodies and violently throws them into the air.
History.
Phlegyas of Lycaon dies at the hands of Tenma of Pegasus when the Spectre bursts into the ruins of the orphanage. The Spectre attacks him with the Howling Inferno, but Tenma stops the attack with his hands and eliminates him with his Pegasus Ryūsei Ken. 247 years later, Phlegyas's soul is revived. Phlegyas is in the Fourth Prison, the River Styx, the black swamp, where the discontented and those possessed by rage (sins of wrath) try to drown each other. Phlegyas of Lycaon defeats Hyōga and Shiryū with his Howling Inferno when they try to cross the river with Kanon. But the Golden Saint takes care of killing him with his Galaxian Explosion and takes the boat so that the trio can travel.
