Techniques/Attacks

•Greed the Life: This is Valentine's most powerful technique and is also used by those who have worn the Harpy Surplice in the different series of the Saint Seiya franchise. Before launching this technique, the user adopts a posture in which they join their hands and raise their arms above their head. When initiating their attack, the wings of their Surplice unfold while they burn their cosmos to the maximum, thus generating a powerful expanding wave of energy that extends from their body. •Sweet Chocolate: Valentine summons the spirits of the harpies, which attack the opponent and devour the soul. According to the Specter, the souls of enemies taste sweet to the Harpies. •Corrupt Depravity: Valentine begins by assuming a stance where she crosses her hands and raises her arms above her head. While in this position, her cosmos projects around her, generating a gale of dark winds that concentrate on her hands, forming a sphere. Then, she lowers her arms and quickly extends them to the sides, releasing all the concentrated wind in the form of a large tornado that heads towards the opponent.

History.

He appears right after the fight between Ikki of the Phoenix and his brother Shun of Andromeda, who had been possessed by the spirit of Hades. Once Ikki was defeated, Pandora approaches him and notices Valentine's presence. She orders Valentine to throw Ikki's body into Cocytus. Once there, he throws Ikki's body near Seiya. Valentine mocks Seiya, saying that Cocytus seems to have been created especially for the Saints of Athena. Seiya recognizes Valentine as the specter he fought in the castle. Valentine mockingly tells him he should praise him for reaching that point. After this, he prepares to leave, but Seiya stops him, asking him to let him out, reminding him of his promise to face him if he reached Mekai. Valentine seems unconcerned. Seiya then tells him that he possesses Athena's Cloth, and if he wants it, he'll have to defeat him. Valentine frees Seiya, seeking Athena's Cloth, but Seiya attacks him despite being in poor condition from his time in Cocytus. Seiya continues attacking Valentine with everything he has, but Valentine dodges his attacks and counterattacks without difficulty. Seeing that Seiya won't surrender, he attacks with his Greed the Life, sending Seiya and Athena's Cloth flying. Seiya, badly wounded on the ground, moves towards the armor to grab it, but Valentine attacks him to make him release it. At that moment, Seiya gets up and attacks Valentine with his Pegasus Meteor. Despite his confidence, Valentine falls defeated and dead. Shortly after, Valentine's corpse was found by a group of specters. They were surprised that a man like Valentine would be killed by a Bronze Saint.

History.

Valentine is enraged, despite admiring Rhadamanthys' nobility, so he decides that if this is the path he has chosen, he will let him continue, but without Pandora. Valentine attacks her to kill her, but his attack doesn't reach its target because it's stopped by Rhadamanthys. Rhadamanthys uses his Greatest Caution; the attack is fatal to Valentine, but even mortally wounded, he returns to kneel before Rhadamanthys, dying while remembering his past as a servant in his castle, begging Rhadamanthys to continue living as a specter, proud of his mission and his power. 247 years later, Valentine's soul returns to life. He first appears in Heinsten Castle, after the arrival of the Bronze Saints. While Seiya of Pegasus tries to attack Rhadamanthys, he dodges his attack without difficulty and prepares to attack again, but Seiya is attacked from behind. At that moment, Valentine appears, saying that the Bronze Saints are not worthy of fighting him. Rhadamanthys is surprised that he is still in the castle, to which Valentine replies that not only he, but all the specters under his command are there; they will not move even if their heads are cut off until he gives the order. Rhadamanthys orders them to head to the Meikai along with the rest of the troops. At that moment, Seiya gets up, prepared to attack Rhadamanthys, but his fist is stopped by Valentine, who violently attacks him while the rest of the troops attack the Bronze Saints. Believing them unconscious, they prepare to retreat. At that moment, Seiya gets up, but Valentine tells him that if he wants to fight him, it will be in the Meikai. He tries to leave, but Seiya prevents him, and both fall into the Meikai.

History.

Valentine of Harpy, appears after Rhadamanthys receives the blood of Hades; the power and pain are terrible, so he begins attacking everything in front of him. Valentine and Basilisk realize the damage the terrible power running through him is causing; they remember Rhadamanthys' words and decide to help him regain consciousness. Valentine is one of the traitorous Specters who have decided to follow Alone's ideals, being selected as the guardian of the Temple of Jupiter, but he abandons the Temple of Jupiter to guard the entrance to the place where Rhadamanthys is trying to control the power granted by the blood of Hades. When Pandora goes in search of Rhadamanthys of Wyvern, to the Temple of Saturn, Valentine defends the door and his lord, responding to Pandora's treatment, who considers them only a couple of dogs that must be obedient to the designs of Hades. Valentine confronts Pandora, respecting Alone's ideal of salvation and trusting that Rhadamanthys will not be dominated by this woman. In the fight, Valentine attacks Pandora with Sweet Chocolate; the technique begins to take effect, so he decides to turn his back on his opponent and observe the door to the place where Rhadamanthys is. Because of this, Pandora takes advantage of the moment to free herself and attack, but at that moment Rhadamanthys manifests all his power, controlling the blood of a god. When Rhadamanthys approaches to talk to Pandora, he attacks Valentine while watching Rhadamanthys being humiliated by Pandora.

Personality.

As his lieutenant, Valentine is Rhadamanthys of Wyvern's most loyal follower, and is always ready to protect him from threats. He is overconfident, considering something like a Bronze Knight "insignificant".

Appearance.

Valentine is very similar to his superior, Rhadamanthys, differing only in his surplice. He has pale pink, spiky hair, slightly longer than Rhadamanthys', and gold eyes. His skin is also paler.
