Niobe from Deep

• Deep Fragrance: This is Niobe's main technique, in which she ignites her cosmos to the maximum to produce a sweet fragrance of death with which she immobilizes and ends the life of her adversary. Niobe, with her unique ability, controls the direction of the fragrance she has created, aiming with her hand towards her target. The fragrance begins to swirl around her arm before being launched at high speed, forming a vortex that envelops the adversary and their surroundings. Upon inhaling this fragrance, the victim begins to experience a gradual loss of senses, while their limbs become numb and their consciousness fades. Covering the mouth or avoiding inhaling the fragrance is useless, as it penetrates through the skin. Thus, in a matter of seconds, the fragrance travels through the nervous system to nullify the five senses and plunge the victim into a profound death. •Dead Perfume: Releases a cloud of toxic gas that penetrates any material, no matter how resistant it is; it passes through, instantly killing the opponent.

He then understood that this technique was what defeated Aldebaran. Mū covers his nose and mouth, aware that he must avoid breathing this perfume. Niobe laughs, explaining that it's useless because the perfume can seep through the pores of the skin, adding that Mū's nervous system will be affected and he will lose his five senses. Then, in a few seconds, Mū will gently sink into death. Niobe says, gleefully, that he had taken down another Gold Saint. However, his satisfaction is short-lived: he suddenly sees an invisible wall in front of him, and sees Mū's image behind it. The wall shatters, throwing Niobe to the ground. Mū explains that this invisible wall is the Crystal Wall, while Niobe understands that the Saint has protected himself from his fragrance with this barrier. Mū suddenly turns his back, ready to continue his journey. Niobe shouts for him to wait, because their fight is far from over, but Mū says there's no reason to fight a dead opponent, already defeated by Aldebaran. Aries says that he thought Aldebaran would have allowed himself to die without finishing off his enemy. When Niobe thought he had won a perfect victory against the Saint, his own body was pulverized by the Great Horn. Niobe is incredulous, but suddenly his body begins to explode.

Later, Mu arrives at the Taurus Temple, but worries when he doesn't sense Taurus's cosmos. Suddenly, Aries finds Taurus standing, arms outstretched, and completely motionless. Mu understands that his friend died like that, defending his temple to the death, but despite his immense strength, fighting three Gold Saints at once was impossible. However, one detail catches Mu's attention: Aldebaran's body has no wounds and exhales a strange odor. Mu realizes that this must be the work of a Specter, and his doubts are immediately dispelled by the voice of Niobe, who explains that Saga's group only had to cross the Temple, as its guardian was already out of action. The Specter strikes Aldebaran's remains, his Cloth shatters, and his body turns to dust. Mu realizes that the true Specters have arrived at the Sanctuary, and Niobe tells him that Saga and the others are nothing more than a guide to reach the Sanctuary. Mu replied that he doubted it. In his eyes, these Specters are only an obstacle for Saga, Shura, and Camus. Niobe gets angry, declaring that Mu will end up like Taurus, and then launches her Deep Fragrance. Mu feels a strange perfume that makes him lose consciousness.

The Saint of Pisces is no longer moving, and Niobe, thinking he is dead, begins to beat him for attacking him. Suddenly, the Specter retreats because he thinks he has sensed movement in Albafica. Niobe realizes he is surrounded by a cloud of blood, while Albafica shows signs of life. The Gold Saint has nothing to fear from the Deep Fragrance, as he spends every day of the year with poisoned roses, and above all, his own blood is poison. Albafica uses his Crimson Thorn to project dozens of blood needles from the crimson cloud that pierce Niobe. Since the fragrance of the Royal Demon Rose was stopped by the Deep Fragrance, Albafica considered it preferable to send the poison directly to the Specter's body. Niobe collapses, dead from the attack. 247 years later, Niobe's soul comes back to life. Niobe is one of the Specters sent to the Sanctuary by Rhadamanthys to watch over the Gold Saints resurrected by Hades and take Athena's head. He is the first Specter to attack the Gold Saints protecting the Sanctuary. In the Temple of Taurus, Aldebaran observes the flower a young woman had given him, but the flower begins to wither and he hears a malevolent laugh. Niobe appears in front of Taurus, without giving him time to defend himself, he attacks with the Deep Fragrance. As he falls under the effect of the technique, Aldebaran has a vision where he sees the destruction caused by Hades and the young woman who gave him the flower is murdered; at that moment, the Saint uses his last strength to attack his opponent with the Great Horn. Niobe tries to defend himself from the attack with his hands, but observes that it fades without touching him; after the attack he believes he is unharmed, therefore, he proudly looks at the lifeless body of Taurus and waits for more enemies to appear in the Temple.

Niobe is one of the Specters who accompanied Minos in the attack on the Sanctuary, but before they could reach it, they encounter Albafica, who had placed a garden of Royal Demon Roses in their path. The Specters are unable to continue, because upon entering the garden they die from the poison of the roses. At that moment Niobe begins to walk over the garden, showing that the poison of the roses does not harm him. Niobe tries to hit him, but Albafica blocks his fist with a black rose. Albafica tells him that the Piranha Roses devour everything in their path. Niobe manages to avoid the attack by hiding behind a stone pillar, however, the roses destroy part of his Surplice. Albafica congratulates him for surviving his techniques, but adds that it will soon be the end. However, the Gold Saint suffers an unpleasant surprise: his roses are fading and their perfume is replaced by another fragrance. The noxious aura that has spread from Niobe's body is the effect of his Deep Fragrance, a technique whose sweet perfume causes the five senses to be lost. Albafica is worried, not only because the perfume will destroy the Royal Demon Rose garden, but also because it will endanger the inhabitants of the neighboring village of Rodorio. Albafica then inhaled all the poisoned air towards himself, to the astonishment of his opponent.

In his appearance in the story, he proved to be a quite competent, intelligent, and cautious warrior when acting, since he knows when to attack his rival and remains hidden until the right moment arrives. He is a person who trusts in his ability, although this leads him to make some mistakes and lose his cautious way of acting, something that can be seen when he defeated Aldebaran, because at that moment he begins to believe that his ability is enough to defeat the Gold Saints and even believed that his adversary's attack did not harm him. Niobe prefers to travel and fight only against his enemies. He is a person completely loyal to Hades, like other Specters, he is committed to fighting under the orders of Pandora, the Meikai Sankyotō and Hades.

Niobe is a young adult, 25 years old, but his physical appearance makes him look older. When standing, he slouches slightly, as if hunchbacked. His facial features also make him look older than his age, with well-defined wrinkles or marks on his face, a wide nose, and a large mouth. Although he doesn't appear to be, Niobe is a considerably tall person, at 181 cm. His body is slender but athletic due to his condition as a warrior.
