Pisces Albafica

As the Saint of Pisces, Albafica is considered "as beautiful as a woman"; his eyes are dark blue while his hair is an oriental aquamarine, which he keeps long with two strands framing his face and bangs covering most of his forehead. His complexion is white and his features are defined, however in the anime he is presented in a somewhat more masculine way than other Saints of Pisces.

Enigmatic, silent, serene, and solitary, yet noble of heart. Sometimes he seems cold, but in reality, he only protects others from himself by isolating himself in profound solitude. He possesses a great love for humanity, as shown by his actions towards the people who inhabit the village closest to the sanctuary, "Rodorio." He is recognized as one of the most beautiful saints (although sometimes he seems to dislike being admired for his beauty, as shown by his covering his face when praised for being as beautiful as a woman), which is why there is not a single person who does not wish to approach him, touch him, or admire him; but it is for this very reason that he remains distant, as his toxic presence is a threat to others. However, he has already been sublimated by Pefko and Shion.

As a baby, Albafica of Pisces was abandoned in a garden of Royal Diabolic Roses, which would have been fatal to any other living being. However, because he survived, he was adopted by Lugonis of Pisces, who became his master. Red Bonds is the blood ritual between a Pisces Saint and their pupil. By exchanging a drop of blood from a wound made in the fingertip of each, the transmitted blood circulates in each other's bodies for several years. If the recipient cannot resist the poisoned Pisces blood, they will die a terrible death. Even if one of the two withstands the poisoned blood, a solitary life awaits them, their life stained deep red like the poison. Albafica performed this ritual with his master, Lugonis of Pisces, giving up a normal life; this ceremony lasted for years. At first, the poison in his master's blood only burned his body and caused him pain. Several times he was on the verge of death, wandering, yet he continued to survive each time. But soon his body became accustomed to the poison. Lugonis of Pisces and Albafica shared the same poison in their blood, making them increasingly close in the world, more than father and son, as the Saint said. Albafica sometimes thought it was stupid, however, during a blood exchange, Lugonis of Pisces fell dead. Before dying, he told Albafica that the student's poison had finally surpassed the master's blood, so much so that it was able to kill him. He explained Pisces' destiny: In this ceremony, whoever possesses the poison and the greatest toxicity in their body through the process of blood circulation will, by law, survive and continue on the path of battles. One way or another, they will end up dead.

Once he was a Golden Saint, the Patriarch Sage entrusted him with the mission of investigating possible specters on the Healer's Island. Albafica went and met the healer who cured any ailment known to man, even offering to cure Albafica's poisoned blood. It was later discovered that this man was the brother of Rugonis, Luco of Dryad, who used Underworld Flowers to turn the sick into specters; these same flowers left Pisces in a very bad state. Albafica confronted Luco, but the specter had the ability to control all types of plants and attacked the Golden Saint with his own Piranha Roses. Albafica used his Crimson Spines technique to destroy Luco and restore tranquility to the island. After this mission, Albafica became less cold and evasive, especially towards Shion of Aries, who always showed him sympathy. On another mission, Albafica accompanied Manigoldo of Cancer on his mission against the Black Saints in Italy. Albafica confronted Rusé of Black Crow, who confronted the Real Diabolic Roses with his Black Feather Defense. Black Crow used the Seki Shiki Meikai Ha to transport Albafica, along with Manigoldo and Gioca, to the Yomutsu hill; there, the Black Saint believed he would be safe from the roses and Pisces' poisoned blood. However, Albafica attacked him with his fists, defeating him; Black Crow later died at the hands of Ávido of Black Altar. Once in the mortal world, Albafica easily defeated Laimargos of Black Hercules and Yudo of Black Hunting Dogs, killing both with his Bloody Rose. Then both saints returned to the Sanctuary.

Albafica appears for the first time in history, stopping the small Albafica advance in front of the specters. A group of specters commanded by Minos of Griffon, heading towards the Sanctuary and killing some of them, Minos had no problem eliminating the Silver and Bronze Saints defending the entrance. However, he didn't expect to encounter Albafica of Pisces, who covered the entire path with Demonic Roses to prevent the advance of Hades' Specters. However, Niobe of Deep mocks the roses and dries them with his poison. Niobe's specter attacks Pisces with his Deep Fragrance, but Deep's technique proves useless against Albafica, as he is immune to any type of poison. Niobe is defeated by Pisces' Crimson Spines, but when the battle against Minos begins, the specter sweeps away the Real Diabolic Roses, and apparently all of Pisces' techniques are useless against the Leader of the Underworld. Albafica is defeated by the Cosmic Puppet attack, Minos' strongest attack, using Pisces as a puppet and destroying his limbs, leaving him practically dead. With Albafica seemingly dead, Minos focuses his attention on the village a few meters from the sanctuary, the village of Rodorio, which he decides to destroy because he noticed that Albafica was defending it, even killing some specters like Byaku of the Necromancer in the process.

When Minos was about to kill a girl with a rose that was a gift from Albafica, he is intercepted by Shion of Aries, who from the beginning comes to Albafica's aid. Shion begins his battle against Minos, and Minos uses his Cosmic Puppet technique, but Albafica makes his entrance again, cutting the strings of Minos's attack with his Piranha Roses. At that moment, Albafica ignites his cosmos to the maximum, causing an explosion of his own blood, to again perform his Crimson Spines technique against Minos, who tells him it will be useless because of the hardness of his Surplice. At that moment, the spines fall and land on the specter, who defends himself with his wings and emerges unscathed. However, Shion tells him to look at his chest, and he realizes that there is a red rose, which is actually the bloody rose (white rose), but filled with the poisonous blood of Pisces. Minos, enraged by his defeat, tries to destroy the village as revenge, but his attack is contained by Shion of Aries' Crystal Wall, fulfilling the will of the Golden Saint Albafica to protect, causing Minos to die humiliated. His death was not entirely in vain, because although the specters who had died previously were resurrected by the power of Hades, they are then killed again by Hasgard of Taurus, and Sasha raises a barrier around the Sanctuary with his cosmos, with the aim of preventing the specters who died on the sanctuary grounds from being resurrected. In any case, if Minos had been resurrected, he would have died immediately because of his irremediably poisoned blood.

•Royal Demon Rose: These plants are highly dangerous due to the poison released by their scent. This is why they are the last barrier of the Twelve Temples, appearing before enemies on the path to the Pontiff's Temple. It is said that they were planted there in the mythological era. •Diabolic Petals: The user uses the petals of the Royal Demon Rose, launching them in a large red burst that engulfs the enemy, suffocating them in colorless pollen with an intoxicating but poisonous scent, killing the enemy. •Dagger Rose: This involves the user sending a rain of blue roses in the form of sharp projectiles against their opponent; once launched, these roses pierce their target like knives (daggers) because they are extremely sharp. • Piranha Rose: This is a type of black rose as strong as metal, whose thorns act in the same way as the sharp teeth of piranhas, completely destroying everything in their path. •Bullet Rose: The user launches a burst of violet roses at high speed; upon impact with an enemy or surface, they explode, releasing petals and expelling poisonous pollen in the form of violet smoke. •Bloody Rose: This is the ultimate and lethal technique of the Pisces Saints. It is a white rose that the Saint can throw at the speed of light directly into the enemy's heart. Once embedded, it absorbs the enemy's blood, gradually turning red, and when it completely loses its white color for red, the enemy dies. •Crimson Thorn: This is a technique exclusive to Albafica of Pisces, in which he controls the blood of his own body and transforms it into hundreds of sharp, poisonous needles that he fires at high speed against his opponents.
