Persona Attributes

Appearance.

He is the same age as Tenma, Yato, and Alone. His appearance is youthful and differs from that of Aiolia of Leo, except for his haircut and the same brown color. His complexion is pale, he has large turquoise eyes and thin eyebrows.

Personality.

Regulus is very kind and friendly, although he is a bit childish and very proud. He's not very intelligent but he's very strong, and he's very good at analyzing enemy attacks and even people. He cares about others and always tries to protect them, just as his father did with him. A characteristic trait of Regulus is that he always wears an energetic smile on his face, even in the most difficult moments, as a way of facing his destiny.

History.

Ten years before the Holy War, Regulus was a child living with his father, whom he considered strange because he communicated with nature and therefore didn't bother him. However, once, while trying to fish for his food without success, Ilias appeared and with a simple extension of his hand managed to catch the fish. Just then, Hasgard appeared with a message asking him to return to the Sanctuary, as Athena hadn't yet descended and the Specters were beginning to appear, requiring the most powerful Gold Saint. Ilias, however, evaded the conversation, something that angered Hasgard, who decided to take him by force. Regulus intervened, saying his father had done nothing wrong. Hasgard stopped his attack but warned he wouldn't leave until Ilias returned to the Sanctuary. The next day, despite being ill, the Leo Saint prepared to become a warrior again, as through his contact with nature he realized the Specters were approaching. Ilias waited for the enemies in a nearby village. A squadron of Specters appeared, but were quickly defeated by Ilias' Lightning Plasma. After this attack, Ilias realized there was one more enemy, and at that moment the squadron leader, Radamanthys, appeared.

History.

Elsewhere, Hasgard helps evacuate the villagers, taking Regulus with him. At that moment, Valentine appears to fight. While the two are fighting, Regulus escapes, heading towards his father. He sees Ilias being struck by Radamanthys. Ilias realizes his star is about to disappear and, along with his son, watches the sky as a new star is born. Radamanthys notices the child and decides to kill them both with his Greeding Roar. Ilias rises, saying he won't let him harm his son, and counters the attack with Lightning Plasma. As the two clash with their techniques, Ilias tells Regulus to leave, as he has his own destiny. After the clash of their techniques, it is shown that Ilias's attack destroyed the horn of the Surplice, which was aimed at his son, while he himself was killed by the Greeding Roar. After his father's death, Regulus can only run while crying over what happened. Some time later, Sisyphus senses the resonance produced by the Leo Cloth and sets out to find Regulus. [8] Upon arriving, he finds Regulus with the Leo Cloth. After this encounter, Sisyphus takes Regulus to the Sanctuary where he will be trained to become a Saint.

History.

Regulus was appointed by Sage as the new Gold Saint of Leo. As Regulus was heading to the Temple of Leo, happy to now be the guardian of the Temple previously protected by his father, he mistakenly entered the Temple of Virgo, mistaking Asmita for his father at first glance. The Saint of Virgo asked him if he was the new Saint of Leo. After the incident, Regulus apologized to Asmita for reminding him of his father, stating he had confused them. Asmita said it was nothing. Seeing the young man, Asmita said he had heard rumors about his natural talent in battle, although he also said he seemed a bit foolish. Regulus asked Asmita if he was stronger than him, to which Asmita replied that he had never been defeated, therefore he was stronger than the young Saint of Leo. After their conversation, Asmita finally told him that he was in the Temple of Virgo and that the Temple of Leo was a little further down. Regulus apologized for bothering him and greeted Asmita, leaving the Temple of Virgo. As Regulus left, Asmita mentioned that Regulus was the most powerful Saint of Leo. The young Gold Saint has the mission of protecting Conner, entrusted to him by Sage. Regulus arrives in Ireland in search of Conner. Regulus encounters Conner while she was being attacked by a group of Druids. Regulus defeats the Druids with his Lightning Tornado. Conner then asks him to help her find her father. Regulus takes Conner and leaves, while Failinis, who was responsible for protecting Conner, follows them. Regulus arrives with Conner at the palace where Conner's father was; he was dead, having been murdered by Crúaich. Regulus promises Conner that he will defeat Crúaich.

History.

Beginning a battle, Crúaich quickly unleashes the powers of Balor, who takes him as his host. Balor, having taken control of Crúaich, manages to demonstrate his superiority over the Saint of Leo, who, still unconscious, continued to protect Conner. When the evil eye was about to kill Conner, Regulus intervenes, preventing the young woman's murder. The fight is interrupted by Failinis, who manages to get the young people out of that place. Regulus wakes up in a forest where he realizes he was fighting against Balor. Conner tells him they managed to escape. Failinis asks Regulus to stand up and then hits him for his stupidity. Conner tries to calm Failinis, but Regulus agrees with her. Conner affirms that Lugh saved Regulus. The Saint of Leo asks Failinis to teach him the art of magic. At night, Regulus continues training with Failinis, although he still hasn't been able to understand magic. Later, Failinis goes to patrol the area, leaving Conner in Regulus's care. When the young people feel as if the wind were a lament, they suddenly see a woman who is crying. Regulus senses something, however, the mysterious woman introduces herself as Sherry of Banshee. Seeing Failinis injured by the Banshee, Regulus attacks her with Plasma Lightning, which passes through without harming Sherry, who responds with her Rain of Lamentation.

History.

Regulus, who protected Conner as a human shield, is wounded. Regulus manages to leave the battlefield, taking Conner and Failinis with him, Failinis still breathing despite her wounds. Leaving Conner with Failinis, Regulus decides to finish the battle against Sherry. For a moment, Regulus is able to see the flow of spirits, managing to defeat the bashee. Regulus heads to meet Conner; upon arriving where he left her, he finds Balor about to kill Conner. Seeing the armor Regulus wears, Balor recognizes Lugh and decides to fight the Leo Saint. About three years later, Regulus attends the meeting of Gold Saints summoned by Sage to inform them of the resurgence of the god Hades and the beginning of the Holy War. In Jamir, Regulus appears after the Bronze Saints have found the Ship of Hope. The young man pulverizes the ice covering the ship with his Lightning Bolt and informs them that he was sent by the Sanctuary to protect the ship. There he meets his former training partner Yato, as well as the rest of the Bronze Saints. As the Bronze Saints begin repairing the ship, Regulus explores the area. Being practically a novice regarding their culture, he is confused by the Bronze Saints' work and effort in repairing the ship, as well as their symbolism towards the ship and the tools they use.

The Specters begin their attack on the ship. After Violate's arrival, the Specter is wreaking havoc everywhere, damaging the ship with her blows. When she sets out to destroy the ship, the Bronze Saints make a desperate attempt to protect it and try to stop Violate's attack, but at that moment Regulus appears and stops Violate's fist. The young man challenges the Specter to a contest of strength; the pressure unleashed by the force of both contenders begins to destroy the surroundings. Seeing this, the Bronze Saints scold Regulus for the damage he is causing to the ship during their fight. Hearing them, Regulus decides to change the location of the fight, and with a kick that destroys part of the Behemoth's Surplice, he throws Violate away from the ship. In this new terrain, Regulus states that he can fight at full power without holding back. Violate warns him that it won't be that easy and attacks him with a blow using all her strength. She believes she has defeated him and wonders if her rival was just boasting, but Regulus appears above Violate's fist. She warns him that by only dodging her attacks he will never be able to beat her. Regulus explains that he has seen the flow of her movements and will surpass her. Violate doesn't believe the boy's words and tells him to overcome the next blow. Regulus stops her fist with just one finger and then grabs her hand to throw her away. Violate can't believe that her brute strength has truly been surpassed and is surprised by the young man's natural talent, but she explains that he is still a novice, as he hadn't realized that she was a distraction to keep him away from the ship, and the rest of the Specters had begun their attack. Hearing these words, Regulus decides he must end the fight as quickly as possible to go help his comrades. But at that moment he is paralyzed by the shadow of Violate's Kagenui.

History.

While trapped in the Kagenui, Regulus receives powerful blows from Violate, but before he can be defeated, he demonstrates his tremendous skill by overcoming the Kagenui and using it against his rival. The shadow paralyzes Violate, who cannot believe his technique is being used against him. Regulus tells him he has surpassed him and then strikes him. Violate, through great effort, manages to escape the Kagenui; seeing that his chances of winning are nil, he decides to use all his strength in a final blow. Regulus uses the Lightning Void, with which he defeats and kills Violate. At the end of the fight, Regulus realizes that Violate, like him, was protecting something important. Before Regulus can leave and travel to the ship to help his companions, Aiacos attacks the Saint from his ship in the sky; the attack surprises Regulus and causes him serious injuries. After Regulus doesn't return, Yuzuriha is sent to look for him, finding the young man badly wounded. During the fight between Sisyphus and Aiacos, Aiacos unleashes his technique against his rivals; the energy cross brings down both ships. Yuzuriha observes the attack from a distance and realizes it's the same technique that brought down Regulus. At that moment, the young man regains consciousness and explains that the Specter Sisyphus is fighting is one of the three Meikai Sankyotō, Aiacos of Garuda. Regulus explains that he didn't have the opportunity to fight him face-to-face and the attack took him by surprise, so he couldn't analyze it; therefore, they must be very careful with their enemy because the damage will be irreparable.

History.

Regulus and Yuzuriha reunite with the other Saints and Athena on the Ship of Hope, before they reach the Lost Canvas. After Sisyphus's great battle against Pharaoh, the Specter falls defeated before the Saint, warning them before he dies that the door to enter the Lost Canvas will not open and the only way to enter is to destroy it, but to do so they need power comparable to the Big Bang. Hearing these words, the Saints lose hope. But Shion explains that all is not lost because there is a way to match the power of the Big Bang. Regulus questions why they hadn't tried that method from the beginning. Shion explains that it's now useless, because it requires three Gold Saints to achieve it. Sisyphus, who was mortally wounded, stands up to help his companions, to the surprise of all the Saints and Sasha. Regulus, along with Sisyphus and Shion, executes the Athena Exclamation to make their way into the Lost Canvas. There he witnesses the defeat of Athena's army as they are turned to stone. Regulus, along with Shion, Tenma, and Sasha, are the only ones who managed to overcome the curse and, with the help of Charon, reach the other side of the shore where the Evil Temples are located, which they will have to traverse to reach the temple where Alone was. After managing to cross the first temples of the Lost Canvas with the help of Shion and Dohko, who opened their way by deciding to face the enemies who were in the temples, Regulus, along with Tenma and Sasha, are the only ones to reach the Temple of Saturn (where the most powerful rival they have faced is located). In the Temple they encounter its guardian, Rhadamanthys, who is accompanied by Pandora and Cheshire.

History.

While talking to their enemies, Tenma realizes that Regulus is acting violently in front of Rhadamanthys. The Specter unleashes a powerful roar that knocks down Regulus and Tenma. Before the Saints are defeated, Sasha (after putting on her armor) appears to protect them with her cosmos, but when the brilliance of her cosmos fades, Pandora takes the advantage and begins to attack her. Regulus and Tenma try to defend her by attacking Pandora, but Rhadamanthys repels their attack without difficulty. The encounter is interrupted by Yōma, who reveals part of Tenma and Pandora's history. After this revelation, everyone who was in the Temple is thrown to different places in the Lost Canvas by Youma's powers. Regulus and Rhadamanthys, who were not affected by the Specter's powers, remained in the Temple of Saturn. After what happened in the Temple of Saturn, Regulus began to follow his rival. Rhadamanthys notices Regulus's presence, who was observing him to learn everything about him in order to surpass him. Rhadamanthys replies that he shouldn't try to compare him to others, since he was superior to humans, unleashing a violent roar against his adversary. Believing he had reduced him to dust, he prepares to leave, but a shockwave equal to his roar hits him. The young man comments that the Rhadamanthys he knew would have died with that attack and that he had truly surpassed humanity, and with a smile on his face, he states that he must surpass even that level.

History.

The fight begins. Rhadamanthys realizes his abilities weren't just boasting, however, his skills were limited to humans, so he attacks with his Gliding Roar. The attack violently hits Regulus, who is slammed into one of the Temple walls. After the impact, he gets up with a smile on his face because he had seen his attack. Regulus prepares to attack with the Gliding Roar, aiming directly at the horn on Rhadamanthys' helmet. Seeing this scene, the silhouette of the former Leo Saint comes to his memory and he asks the young man if he was related to that man. He asks which man he's referring to, and Rhadamanthys replies that he's referring to Ilias, the man who spoke to nature, someone he could never forget. Hearing these words, Regulus grips the horn of his rival's helmet with a smile and tells him that he was the first to break his horn. He possesses a memory he can never forget, one in which Rhadamanthys is present; the one who left those marks on the horn and was murdered by his hands was his father, Ilias of Leo. Regulus remembers what happened when he was young and how his father was murdered by Rhadamanthys. Regulus states that it doesn't matter if he's a god or a human, he will overcome him and attacks with the Lightning Void (with all his might). In the Temple of Pluto, Alone notices the confrontation between Regulus and Rhadamanthys, which he calls a representation of the struggle of humans against the gods.

History.

Rhadamanthys blocks the attack without difficulty and counterattacks with incredible power, wounding his opponent. While wounded on the ground, Regulus wonders why his attack failed to defeat him, considering he had been practicing only for this fight. Rhadamanthys replies that he hadn't used his full power at the beginning of the battle. Seeing he was being outmatched, he decides to use a technique that will surpass even the gods: the Athena Exclamation. Despite attacking with a technique of this level, his effort is useless, as Rhadamanthys manages to resist and disperse the Athena Exclamation. The explosion from the technique throws Regulus through the Temple. The young man says he won't give up and decides to use his final move, and the twelve constellations of the zodiac appear behind him. Regulus prepares to use the techniques of the twelve Gold Saints (the extreme power at the limit of humanity) in a single move to surpass the power of the gods. Regulus unleashes the Zodiac Clamation (the union of the twelve techniques). Rhadamanthys contains the power of the technique, but begins to be overwhelmed (or so it seemed). Regulus continues the attack and believes he has surpassed the power of a god, but observes Rhadamanthys containing the power of the Zodiac Clamation. Seeing what was happening, he continues increasing the power of his attack, but reaching his limit, his body begins to bleed. Rhadamanthys explains that he had reached his limit and, like in the myth of Icarus and the Tower of Babel, those who try to reach unattainable places end up failing. Rhadamanthys returns the attack against Regulus, who is completely disintegrated.

History.

As he disintegrates, Regulus feels the wind and remembers a conversation with Sisyphus, where he was watching the sky and talking to the wind (his brother). Sisyphus explains to Regulus that his father wanted to tell him that now that he is one with nature, he is everywhere. The young man (with tears in his eyes) replies that he couldn't hear him, and Sisyphus replies that one day he will understand that his father was always within him. Rhadamanthys observes that the Zodiac Clamation caused a large hole in the Lost Canvas. Rhadamanthys is contemplating Leo's Cloth when he leaves; he feels something strange and, turning to look at Leo's Cloth again, Regulus appears sitting next to his Cloth. Rhadamanthys is surprised to see him still alive, but he feels no trace of his presence. Regulus tells him he is only admiring his homeland. Rhadamanthys doesn't hesitate to attack him with all his might. But before Rhadamanthys can believe it, Regulus appears behind him. He continues attacking, and Regulus continues dodging his attacks. Seeing this, he begins to wonder why he doesn't feel his rival's presence, or rather, why he had the feeling of being lost in a dense forest... but before he can react, Regulus attacks his heart from behind. Rhadamanthys can't believe that with just one blow he will cause him so much damage, and it is at that moment that he realizes that Leo was truly dead. Regulus states that he has become one with nature... he can finally hear his father's voice. He tells Rhadamanthys that he always searched for his father, and he finally understood the words his father used to tell him when he was a child. Rhadamanthys lunges at Regulus to attack him, but Regulus attacks the Lightning Bolt, piercing Rhadamanthys's heart.

History.

The attack shatters Rhadamanthys's Surplice and heart, thus defeating his greatest opponent and surpassing the power of a god. Regulus begins to disappear, not before saying goodbye to Tenma and Shion with a smile on his face, saying that he would have liked to spend more time with them, but now he would be everywhere, disappearing like the wind. Regulus, along with the rest of the Gold Saints, returns from death to launch one last attack to defeat the spirit of Hades that had possessed Alone's body. The combined power of the twelve Gold Saints manages to extract the spirit of Hades from Alone's body, thus achieving their final victory in the Holy War. Regulus's last words were "for the possibilities." These words were used by him when the Gold Saints performed the Golden Light against the god, Hades.

Techniques/Attacks

•Lightning Bolt: This is a light-speed punch that, upon breaking the sound barrier, projects a shock wave that propels the punch through the air in the form of a ball of electricity. For someone moving at a slower speed, the punch is imperceptible, with only a flash on the user's shoulder. •Lightning Plasma: The user delivers punches at the speed of light with one or both fists, reaching one hundred million blows per second, which can impact from a distance through shock waves that surpass the sound barrier. •Lightning Crown: Adopting a stance as if about to swipe, he then lunges at his opponent and, once close enough, unleashes a powerful shockwave from his hand. •Lightning Fang: Strikes the ground with his fist, causing a multitude of lightning bolts to emerge from underground directly towards his enemies. •Lightning Tornado: Extends his right arm, concentrating his lightning cosmos. In his right hand, which he raises upwards, generating lightning bolts in a tornado-shaped vortex with black lightning in the middle and lightning emerging from the top with several protrusions, before striking opponents with this immense power. •Lightning Void: In his left hand, which he raises upwards, generating dark lightning in a vortex of three halos ending in a point that generates an absolute void, and then strikes opponents with this immense power. •Lightning Converge: He raises his right arm to concentrate his lightning cosmos by closing his fist, then launches himself and again opens his hand against the sky creating vortices that generate several rays, which he concentrates into one. •Lightning Roar: Creates thousands of lightning bolts that surround him in a kind of force field that, when it reaches the limit of electricity, opens his arms and releases a large electric discharge that causes a giant explosion that sounds like the roar of a lion.
