Persona Attributes

Appearance.

Lugonis is a slender and muscular man; he has reddish-brown hair and brown eyes, a fair complexion, and well-defined features around his eyes, showing some dark circles. He bears a striking physical resemblance to his brother Luco, which makes one think they could be twins.

Personality.

Lugonis was a person who worried a great deal about tragedies; he hated innocent people dying because of a simple mistake, as when he taught his adopted son, saying that the improper handling of roses would be someone else's death, in other words, deadly poison. In any case, he was a kind person, he loved Albafica very much, like a father to a son, Albafica being the one who trained him as a warrior; he was someone extremely respectful, as well as kind, although he didn't show it.

History.

Lugonis is a Saint who has lived in solitude, because his blood has gradually become poisonous, similar to his venomous roses. One day he finds an abandoned baby in one of his poisonous gardens, far from the Sanctuary. Amazed that the baby has a natural resistance to poison, he decides to take him in as his son, calling him Albafica. When Albafica grows up, he decides to become Lugonis' disciple to be the next Pisces Saint, although he knows that this will mean a path of solitude due to the poisonous blood he will develop, and enduring strict training, since a mistake using his roses can be fatal to an ally or an innocent. Lugonis is Sisyphus' opponent in the trial to become the Sagittarius Saint. The apprentice is quickly defeated by the Pisces Saint; however, he was able to hit him, which was his purpose and what allowed him to obtain the Sagittarius Cloth. Before dying, Lugonis asks Sage that if his brother Ruko, who has dedicated his life to finding a cure for the poison in Lugonis' blood, finds said cure, he should send Albafica there so that he can choose once again whether to live in the solitude that being the Pisces Saint entails, or to live with people again. The Patriarch agrees, sending Albafica to the Island of the Healers years later, even knowing that Luco had awakened as a Specter of Hades. Every day Lugonis and Albafica perform the Crimson Thread ritual, in which, after each one cuts their finger, they join them so that the blood flows from one to the other. Over time, the poison in Albafica's blood becomes more powerful than Lugonis', and the ritual ends his life, leaving the Pisces Cloth to his "son" and disciple.

Techniques/Attacks

•Royal Demon Rose: These plants are highly dangerous due to the poison released by their scent. That is why they are the last barrier of the Twelve Temples, appearing before enemies on the path to the Pontiff's Temple. It is said that they were planted there in the mythological era. •Diabolic Petals: The user uses the petals of the Royal Demon Rose, launching them in a large red burst that engulfs the enemy, suffocating them in colorless pollen with an intoxicating but poisonous scent, killing the enemy. •Dagger Rose: This involves the user sending a rain of blue roses in the form of sharp projectiles against their opponent; once launched, these roses pierce their target like knives (daggers) because they are extremely sharp. • Piranha Rose: This is a type of black rose as strong as metal, whose thorns act in the same way as the sharp teeth of piranhas, completely destroying everything in their path. •Bullet Rose: The user launches a burst of violet roses at high speed; upon impact with an enemy or surface, they explode, releasing petals and expelling poisonous pollen in the form of violet smoke. •Bloody Rose: This is the ultimate and lethal technique of the Pisces Saints. It is a white rose that the Saint can throw at the speed of light directly into the enemy's heart. Once embedded, it absorbs the enemy's blood, gradually turning red, and when it completely loses its white color to red, the enemy dies.
