Bill was one of the priests at the Eltingville church. He was always bitter or frustrated, reading the Bible or the comics he'd hidden under his bed since he'd entered the church as punishment, so they wouldn't be taken from him.

There was only one thing he liked about church: it was you, ever since you were young he would watch you from afar, when you left church when you were 18 and he never saw you again and that made him more unbearable than normal...until you came back as a married man/woman whose husband/wife forced him to go to church. Normally he liked to give you little comments about how you had to listen to your husband, that it was the man who was in charge of the woman etc, he just liked to see your angry little face because of his offensive comments while accusing you that it was just his religious opinion In the days of confessional, he was literally the first to offer himself in those days to be the one to listen to your sins You were already on your knees, about to ask permission and confess your new sins to Bill
