Lynx Retsu

Retsu has the physical appearance of a young man between the ages of 10 and 13. His physical build is thin, though athletic due to the training he received throughout his life. His hair is dark, and his face is featureless. When not wearing the Lynx Cloth, he wears a white tunic. When wearing the Lynx Cloth, his attire consists of his armor, a dark shirt, and shorts of the same color.

Retsu is an orphan whom Noesis took into his custody and made a Saint, which is why Retsu values ​​​​him like a father. After Noesis's death, he seeks to avenge his master, even asking Aiolia to let him complete the mission, since he will end the life of the creature that was in the cave and had killed his master. He is a Saint full of courage and determination, although he is also a person insecure about his own abilities, being a Saint who belongs to the lowest category, something that other Saints like Aiolia and Shaina remind him that it does not matter and to trust his abilities. Even though he is young and inexperienced, he shows great determination when it comes to fighting, always seeking to protect civilians and his friends, even if it costs him his life, he will not give up even if his rival surpasses his strength.

Retsu is a young orphan, who at an unknown point in his life meets Noesis, who would later become his teacher and instruct him to become the Bronze Saint of Lynx. After a mysterious creature attacked a village, the police were dispatched, but they also disappeared, so the Sanctuary decided to intervene by sending Noesis and Retsu. The two Saints arrived at the cave where the creature was (hiding through the darkness surrounding its body), upon observing it Noesis recognizes the beast, although it was too much and its body had almost been completely petrified, and only managed to protect his arm and the upper part of his torso, before falling defeated he asks Retsu to go and inform the Sanctuary of the danger, even when Retsu refuses to abandon him, he replies that his duty is to protect the village, at that moment Noesis with his last strength uses the Tritos Spuragisma to stop the creature. Three days after what happened, Retsu is in the forest waiting for news from the Sanctuary, at that moment Aiolia appears (although he does not mention his name) as the envoy of the Sanctuary. Retsu is certain that he is a person of great power and begs him to let him avenge his master's death, upon hearing this Aiolia (introducing himself as "Leo") lies about his mission and indicates that he was sent only to oversee the elimination of the creature, since he has no combat skills. As the two head to the cave, Aiolia reads the real message wondering if he did the right thing. Upon arriving there, Aiolia notices several stone statues, to which Retsu explains that he believes the creature to be a dragon that petrifies with its breath, and even though it is a dangerous enemy, he is confident that he can defeat it, since it had already received the attack from his master.

Inside the cave, Retsu finds the remains of his master and can't help but cry for not having been able to do anything to help him. At that moment, the creature attacks them both, but Retsu puts on his Cloth and stops the attack. The two observe the creature, whose darkness dissipates thanks to Noesis's attack, and Aiolia identifies it as Euryale, one of the three Gorgons of mythology. After seeing that it is such a dangerous creature, Retsu decides to stay to face it and asks his companion to inform the Sanctuary about the situation so they can send a Gold Saint to stop it, but Aiolia replies that his mission is to watch how it defeats the creature and the strength of a Saint is not measured by their Cloth. Before Euryale can attack Retsu, his master's seal activates and the arm on Noesis's petrified remains begins to glow. Retsu approaches his master's remains and sets out to finish off Euryale in his next attack where he will concentrate all his cosmos, his master's cosmos amplifies his Ressō Shippū and with his claws he is able to slice the Gorgon into several pieces. After Euryale's defeat, the petrified remains of Noesis's body are shattered. Retsu asks Leo to inform everyone in the Sanctuary that Noesis's cosmos had a golden glow at the end, although it is only their word, but "Leo" introduces himself as Leo's Aiolia, and tells him that he witnessed what happened, so everyone will believe his story.

Cronus' control of time begins to affect the universe. Strange things happen around the world. In Egypt, a vast jungle has appeared in the desert, and animals that were thought to be extinct begin to appear. A group of explorers enters the jungle and are attacked by a saber-toothed tiger, but before it can hurt them, Retsu appears and kills the animal with his Ressō Shippū. The young man tries to persuade the researchers to desist, since entry in that area has been prohibited, but they refuse. In the shadows, another saber-toothed tiger tries to attack them. At that moment, Shaina appears and kills the animal. She warns the explorers that if they value their lives, they must leave the area. Retsu apologizes to Shaina for his carelessness. She tells him to trust in his own strength and that even if he is alone, he must fulfill his mission. In the end, both Saints watch as the jungle begins to disappear and wonder what is happening. At the same time that the Gold Saints are fighting in Tartarus against the Titans, Retsu protects a city in Egypt from a group of mummies that have been revived by the warps in time-space caused by Cronus. Retsu begins to be overwhelmed by his enemy and his attack only partially damages the creature, which regenerates, since it is not a purely physical entity. The mummy attacks Retsu, although he manages to stop the mummy's fist, he begins to be overcome by the force of the blow, but before he is overcome, a barrier appears in front of him, and Misty appears along with the researcher Miko. Misty begins her attack against the mummy, while Retsu watches as the creature is disintegrated by the Mavrou Trypa.

Once the fight is over, Misty asks about a river, after confirming that one exists nearby, he begins to strip to bathe and invites Miko and Retsu to join him, but they reject him. Finished his ritual, he informs them that at that moment a fight between the Gold Saints and the Titans is happening, while they talk more creatures begin to awaken. Retsu and Misty prepare to fight the creatures and Misty says that while her companions are away fighting in Tartarus, they will protect the land so that they find a peaceful world when they return.

•Air Barrier: This technique involves manipulating the surrounding air to create an invisible barrier that protects against any attack. To do this, the user moves their hands at high speed to generate the force field. However, if the opponent moves at the same speed, they can overcome the user's defensive field. •Lynx Arrow: Retsu concentrates his cosmos in the claws of his armor and propels himself through the air with a great jump, his claws begin to lengthen and take on a violet color thanks to the influence of his cosmos, then he gives a series of quick swipes in the air spinning on itself creating an image similar to a tornado, finally he stretches his left arm with the five claws stretched out like arrows and hits his rival with them. •Ressō Shippū: This is Retsu's main technique, in which he concentrates his cosmos to the maximum. Retsu raises his arm and closes his right hand, raising his cosmos, then slashes out several times with his right hand at great speed. This slash tears through the air and creates sharp air blades at high speed. The sharp air waves are thrown at the opponent, destroying or cutting everything in their path until they reach them. Once the opponent is reached, the air waves slice their body completely. •Shining Air Claw: Retsu's most powerful technique, it depicts a lynx leaping nimbly at its opponent, delivering a blast of wind. Retsu adopts the stance of the forest beast to produce a compressed air attack that blasts enemies away.
