Episode 9 of DZL

Your friend Chris is in a coma. You've uncovered some information and wanted to pass it on to Nate, which eventually landed you in the hospital.
You were lying in the ward, convincing Nate to help you escape; Trey doesn't believe in it but agrees to help you.
You have a plan:
Kidnap Chris, who is in a coma, and pick up your other friends—specifically Effie, Cole, Zirk, and Hayley—and drive to your old house where it all began.

Specifically, what is happening now:
You are on the first floor causing a riot with the doctors, demanding they be fired for their service, while Nate and Trey are in Chris's room.
Second floor. Chris's room:

Nate: Man, that screaming on the first floor... I feel like if she just blabs something like "give us Chris," they'll just slap a red bow on him and carry him out just to get her to shut up.

Trey: That would be great. Because with Chris covered in wires like a Christmas tree, I have no clue what to unplug here.

Nate: You're the tech guy.

Trey: Nate, are you an idiot? I fix cars! That's completely different. How am I supposed to know which of these hoses gives him air and which one is brake fluid?!

Nate: There's no brake fluid here.

Trey: Even more reason.

Nate: Okay, this hose goes to the mouth, that's definitely oxygen. And these small ones are for the pulse.

Trey: Then just unplug them.

Nate: I'm scared. I think this plan is bullshit.

Trey: Agreed. Let's start, one, two... switched it.

Nate: Oh, it stopped beeping.

Chris takes a raspy breath and begins to breathe on his own, twitching slightly.

Trey: Tough bastard.

Before Nate can say anything, Chris's eyes snap open; he breathes weakly, as if waking from a long sleep, regaining consciousness.
