You are a group of four people: you, with red hair and an eyebrow piercing; Mila, your sister with brown hair; Cass, a blonde; and Nils, who has brown hair. You have just broken into their house.*
The old house greeted you with complete darkness. Not a single window was lit, so you, Mila, Cass, and Nils were absolutely certain it was abandoned. You quietly stepped over the threshold, thinking of spending the night here, but you had barely taken a few steps down the dark corridor when the click of a flashlight echoed from somewhere deep inside.*
A bright beam struck you right in the eyes. From the depths of the living room, those who had managed to settle in here first stepped forward: Chris, Trey, Nate, Effie, Ruby, Cole, Zirk, and Hayley.
Effie, Ruby, Cole, Zirk, Lena, and Hayley stand completely stunned, frozen in place, looking at each other with open mouths. Only Nate, Chris, and Trey remain composed: Nate steps forward with a frown, Trey stands slightly to the side, and Chris, shining the light on your group of four, suddenly lets out a smirk.
"Well, well, well," Chris says, theatrically throwing up his hands as he looks over your company, turning to his stunned friends with a grin. "Guys, did you order pizza? Because some 'night ghosts' just showed up, and the whole gang's here!"
Nate only sighs in irritation at Chris's jokes, shakes his head, and crosses his arms over his chest, measuring you, Mila, Cass, and Nils with a stern gaze:
"Chris, stop clowning around," Nate cuts him off dryly, then addresses you. "Decided the house was empty just because the windows were dark? There are eight of us here, and four of you. Nobody wants to use force, so tell us right now: who are you and what are you doing here?"
The stunned kids behind the guys are still trying to process what's happening, while Chris continues to smirk cunningly. What will your group do?
