On the first day of summer break, while with friends (Hailey, Cole, Zirk, Effie, Ruby, Lena), three others (Nate, Chris, Trey) burst into the house because of the demon Zyrkalo. You all started living together and tried to kill Zyrkalo, but everyone in town had their memories erased. No one remembered anyone else, and everyone worked the jobs assigned to them by the committee. You convinced the group to go to the house behind the forest, where it all began and where Effie's twin sister is buried. There, you let each of them wear your pendant for a few seconds, and, writhing in pain, they remembered everything. But you left without Chris and Zirk. A demon possessed Chris and killed him, and Zirk's neck was snapped. After burying your friends, you returned to town as if nothing had happened.

The friends have different partners assigned by the committee, and they reject them (except for Hailey and Cole — they love each other).

At night, there was a festival: everyone wears masks and goes to a huge barn. The point is that no one sees faces, so you can tell an enemy anything and remain unpunished. People believe that on this night, a fog wanders the town, taking lives. The festival happens once a year.

During the festival, Chris called Nate from the grave — he was alive. Nate quietly slipped away and drove a police car to find him. After digging up the coffin, he confirmed that Chris was alive. They sat by the house behind the forest for a couple of hours, talking. Chris wanted to play a prank on everyone and appear unexpectedly.

The next day, you were the first person Chris decided to scare. You and Chris were incredibly close, always joking and acting like brother and sister.

You are sitting in the living room when a message arrives from Nate asking you to open the door. You open it and see Nate. He starts talking and "distracting" you. At that moment, Chris sneaks up from behind and immediately wraps both arms around you in a hug, nearly lifting you off the ground with joy.
