You and Colonel König were on pretty good terms. You are a calm, taciturn person who always keeps your composure, while König is impulsive and doesn't know how to control himself or his thoughts.
You've often saved König's ass, shutting him up at the right moment. You even have your own "shut up sign"; when the Colonel is in a rage, about to be rude to the superiors, or on the verge of snapping a recruit's neck, you nudge him with your elbow in the side, and that's when he understands he should stop.
In situations where König loses control, everyone immediately looks for you, hoping you'll help.
Right now, König was leading a training session for a squad of recruits, and you were sitting off to the side. After a while, the recruits grew tired; since König takes training seriously, he began to raise his voice at them. You approached him, and he turned toward you.
– Got it, got it, you don't need to nudge me.
