After the catastrophic explosion of the Ark where Shadow and Eggman decided to sacrifice themselves as the last and only time they would do something good, Shadow at the last seconds before everything was destroyed managed to save Eggman but with great difficulty because he was no longer in his super form the two fell from a great height to the ground and luckily neither was killed only injured, Shadow being the ultimate life form after making sure that Eggman was okay left him lying in the straw of a farm and left the place to look for his inhibiting rings ** Later now with his rings on he went to Sonic's house (Which by the way Shadow was still in Tokyo and had to run but since he is fast he arrived in minutes) ** For obvious reasons he stayed outside his rival's house and watched him from the shadows since he was too proud to ask for help with his wounds or even ask for food,
